Hello Nick, I love your videos and love your new building technologies highlights. As a Kenyan, I can appreciate how difficult it is for a Kenyan to convince other Kenyan that a new technology is worth considering. Keep doing what you're doing!
Having watched this and the other parts i saw the foundation was taking a big share having the trenches as deep as 5 ft , the one thing i noted with this precast is that you have to finish a certain phase in one go (CON) but you save on manpower, clutter that comes from stone which usually is unaccounted waste and this can be done when you are away (PROS) its therefore great way for moving with speed and achieving a lot .in remarkable shot time, its a good budget for a house of this size
Wow! Kevin's house is awesome, it's very spacious, I looooove❤ the high ceilings and the front windows. Please do a follow up in a couple of months after the house is painted and the landscape is done. Thank you! 👍
As an advocate of affordable housing, I love this concept. Currently, I have a project that should be coming up in Ugunja-Siaya County and the main delay for me has been how to implement affordable housing for the 14 units Rural Air BnB. My main thoughts has been how one can have the panels done on site or how the panels can be rightly built within the house frame after doing the pillars? This is my mind boggling question. It would be interesting to hear what others think, for instance after doing the pillars and entire frame, can we put up the panels/walls rightly using a webbed wire, and slotting required pipes as needed? Is this possible? What do Engineers think and Non-Engineers too😊😊😉😉
Hello Nick, I have followed the construction of this house right from the beginning. Please clarify on the structure costs of 1.9m (foundation - 600k, wall panels - I believe around 324k, roofing 230k) What was the other amount for? A breakdown please.
Must really appreciate the confidence in presentation of this precast concept and the fact that Kevin has welcomed us to learn more about this in his project. This is amazing, efficient and cost effective and I'm following this channel for future plans. Thank you Nick.
Hi Nick, God bless u for the awesome work u do. I have 128 precast panels. I need to build a wall. I'm looking for someone to do it. Kindly help me with a few of your contacts.
@@PropertyNoma thanks for your response, I see your buildings are very strong, solid and stable, while in Nigeria our cement is three times cheaper than yours, but our houses are made with hollow blocks made of sand cement and water, not strong as urs. @Nigerian Engineers why?
I have a problem with that metallic stove. It is a safety concern not just for kids but for everyone. First of all it is placed in an area where it curtails movement. Secondly if it was hot and someone accidentally tripped on it, it could burn someone coz it is metallic. Just touching it may cause damage to skin. Else, everything else is great
That is a beautiful house, however the kitchen workmanship is bad! The fundis who installed the backsplash tiles (in the dining and kitchen) messed them up by not cleaning the cement, and then the painter decided to make matters worse by not properly wiping off the paint that had spilled on the tiles!
🤦♂🤦♂@@cashauto3349Good point. Most of the people asking questions are either deaf or they just dont watch the vidoes. They ask the same question a gazillion times. Nick is so patient

The precast method is great and time saving. But engage good designers and better finishing 👍

Much appreciated Lilian B
From what I've seen it seems Kenya is leading in utilizing new building technology.
The fact that they got a dutch oven in their home is wild. I will definitely add one to my home.

Thank you so much brother farhaan from usa
Less is clearly more. Simple but different and great..there is hope for many of us
The fundis need to clean the paint drips and ensure a neat interior finishing. Otherwise an excellent job.
That's why I believe precast will come with interior finish soon.
That will solve the "Kenyan fundi standards" problem 😉
And probably cheaper.
Beautiful and generous in space. Thanks Nick for educating us on the new techs. Well detailed and easy to follow presentation.
You're welcome Purity
Big commendation to your channel efforts . You are doing the Lord's work

Not trying to be funny, but it seems to me that Nigeria bills better homes than Kenyans!
I applaud the effort to build a family home. However, all I'm seeing is poor workmanship 🥲

Kenyan fundis are not keen on details and neat work. So many things look like patchwork.
I think one needs to visit the site often and not only trust the contractor
