These cars are great! I have the A220 diesel mapped to 200bhp it's a fantastic car, pretty nippy and 50mpg no problem, anyone think of getting one, do it!
@@alberto.coutinho I don't have the car anymore sadly, wanted another petrol car so sold it for a petrol BMW. I do really miss it though. You should definitely buy a A200d you will love it, great car!
Do you prefer to always drive in manual mode? I've just bought a 2017 A200d AMG Line (2.1 auto). It's my first ever automatic and at the moment I just leave the 7-speed to do its own thing, but have tried manual mode a couple of times.
TheNextTorres9 Yes we do use the paddle shifters in this video. Changing the gear manually, when you’re in the sport or individual mode, is very fast. Thanks to the 7 speed dual clutch transmission. Usually when you tap the paddle it shifts Almost instantly.
Good vidéo with a good car in beautiful région of Switzerland. I live in France near the city of La Roche sur Foron in the départment of Haute Savoie but i am born in Switzerland, in the city of Morges, in the canton of Vaud, like in your vidéo 😉
Hi, yes it's the 1.6l petrol engine producing 156Hp. It has enough power, mercedes did a great job with the settings of the turbo. So you find yourself with a lot of torque around 2'000 RPM ! Great car overall !

hi, in general we drive it in normal mode too. But when you want to play a little bit more with the car you put it in manual mode.
POV Drives Thanks 😊 Only had the car for two weeks, but I’m sure I’ll be playing with manual mode much more once I’ve got used to it 👍🏼😁
Thinking of buying 2017 1.6 a200 petrol amg.. is the 1.6 a good engine i’ve heard it’s a renault engine and not Mercedes
1.6 L 2017 a200 has a Mercedes engine.
Are you using the paddle shifts in this video? And do you find that changing gear manually is kind of slow or would you say it reacts fast?

The a200d diesel is a much better option, more powerful at lower rev
