Every few weeks I have to come back to this and watch again. Under 10 minutes but so many one liners that get stuck in your head. Making plugging a Jack into a guitar French and sexual is genius. “There was something about their personalities I found attractive” off the cuff, what an absolute treasure the actor Kevin is. The only guy brave enough to deliver the Alan line. Please someone give him his jelly!!
Love Kev, he`s always been there playing small parts on TV comedy shows yet always manages to shine through. He was great in, Nighty Night and I just watched him in Red Dwarf as , 4 Of 27 and peed myself laughing at him. Top banana !
I wore flares until 1983. I was 11. One day a group of girls walked around me in a wide circle, as if to avoid the giant bell bottoms. Then I realised I should probably stop wearing them.
You say that, however, apropos of nothing, and out of the blue, Spotify found in its own ineffable wisdom to add SpizzEnergi - Where's Captain Kirk to my playlist and I immediately thought of The Actor Kevin Eldon..
Or why Stewart Lee is great and why Kevin Eldon isn't. Or why both are great. Or neither. Or all four. Or none of the above. Or all of the above plus another one. Or none of the above, but all of those below this one. Or all seven... And you can keep going with this in an increasingly convoluted fashion until you're both satisfied and bored.
The most common trait of musical comdedians is that they're neither funny or musically interesting. Nice of him to save me the time to work out if the last bit was funny or not; by doing in another language with an exaggerated accent whilst wearing a silly hat. If anyone's reading this I'd guess that was probably your favourite bit. Also, Morrissey's let himself go
another language with an exaggerated accent whilst wearing a silly hat... Some people find 1 - 3 of those things funny and you don't and that's fine. As for the reasons they find them funny - that's open to debate. It seems like a man knowingly exaggerating clichés to the point where they become surreal but also seems reminiscent of the simple unbridled childishness of making silly faces and noises and I like Kevin Eldon because I feel like he succeeds perfectly at melding those characteristics.

Kevin Eldon - always great value in everything he is in, rock solid.

Whenever the actor Kevin Eldon is in the cast of something, I assume it's going to be worth watching.
I love seeing Stew break down in laughter, Eldon is a genius.

Big Train of course, too
It is the most amazing George Martin impersonation, and unlike many doesn't rely on any sort of caricature.
3:10 - this bit is so funny. it's that voice saying something that sounds like it should be a compliment.
Was excellent, have never seen Kevin Eldon perform anything other than character roles in sketch shows. Very funny man.
My god with that guitar bit he almost quotes the Dillinger Escape Plan. Excellent
The let itself go joke has let himself go
"You've got a punk face from the 1970's". Better or worse than having an Eskimo face from the 90's?

There's a 'the actor' missing from that title.

I keep wanting to cover the CDs Jump song but actually have someone in the audience who comes up and presses my buttons...
Would be getting unfunny by the time they were on stage I think. That song relies on clever pacing

I object that my BBC licence fee money, which I have never paid in my entire life, went towards making this objectionable content.
So silly, hehehaha :-P
David Harvey Leeds United Goalkeeper and Kevin look similar.
Hitler as the 5th Beatle is much funnier than George Martin as the Great Dictator.

Stewart Eldon hasn't let himself go
You really don't need to know French to get the jokes in that bit.
Michelle Dotrice has let herself go.
3:28
As that contained quite a large section in the French language, which i don't understand,my enjoyment was slightly depleted.
If Del Trotter has a French brother I fear he may have let himself go.

Good job he's not a musical comedian and a shame that you're presumptuous.
Also, god KD Lang's let herself go a bit.
Had me at "I'm not just a face am I"?

This just illustrates exactly why Kevin Eldon is great, and Stewart Lee isn't.
Stewart lee is a complete bellend and im amazed he got on to the tv. Not funny at all
Richard Herring hiding behind another RUclips account I see
Stewart Lee is incredibly unfunny
