I'm sorry but you dont call you rmother the b word. I know, I know, comedy, chill, don't make a big deal out of it - all that defensive jazz. It doesn't change the fact that it's a slur and you're using it to adress someone holy that gave life to you. Let's get it together.

As a mother, thank you. ❤

I would say, reverence for the mother, simply because she’s the mother, is baffling to me.
Being the source of life does not make you worthy of the honor that life happened to bestow upon you. If you don’t provide all the other things.. love, nourishment, education etc…you’re nothing more than a sperm donor dad. And I’ve seen some women give life to children, that were not worthy of the life they issued. Being a womb, does not make you a mother, anymore than being a sperm don’t makes you a father.
Be a parent, then let’s talk bout respect and honor.

@@bigl6322 okay yeah i totally agree with what you’re saying. There are some shitty parents out there, women who gave birth included. But how does that justify the usage of a sexist slur? How does it justify that word being spelled in the same sentence as the word “mother”, especially since you don’t even know the woman he is talking about? I have no issues with your comment at all but you shouldn’t use that argument to justify the normalization of slurs against women, on a public stage on top of that. We should be able to have fun and laugh without using disgusting language. At his age, he should know better.

@@neverexisted8921 all I’m saying is, you don’t know his experience. His only knowledge of practical mother could well be “bitch” and that is his reality.
I had a Freind who did not even attend her own grandmothers funeral… I could not even conceptualize that…. It took some time, and conversations with her talking about what a mean, raging bitch her grandmother had been. It took me some time to realize that the role does not justify the love/reverence/honor…. Only the individual does, and you do not know this man’s frame of reference.
      That’s all I’m saying.
Some people’s moms are just plain bitches, and clearly yours was not, good on you and I honor that.
