Heyy Lexi!! Hope you feel better! I went through the same thing this summer, applying to several jobs yet not getting any offer. It got to a point where I had to fast and pray to God for that opportunity, and let me tell you sis, God did not miss! Almost a couple weeks later I got a job. It’s a stressful experience to go through but faith in God kept me sane, so trust that his plans are better and seek him diligently :) God’s got you sis!! I’ll pray for ya ❤
I really love the postgrad diaries..very relatable. Dont get discouraged, one company will see your potential and they'll definitely be lucky to have you on their team❤
Aww Lexi! I hope you start to feel better! Remember you are so much more than a resume. These companies are missing out!! You will that get that job! You will conquer the world!!! ❤❤❤
I completely relate to your job search struggles. I graduated from undergrad the same time as you did and received my 1st offer last week. I really wish I had a secret formula to share but it really is applying to as many as you can, staying patient, and taking breaks when it all feels too much. I hope your trials end in full bloom soon
Hi Lexi, I am from Pa. And my husband is a graduate of Lehigh U. Magnum Cum Lade degree in Phhysics. We just came home from Pa home is now Florida. When my hubby was a student he also lived in an apartment in Allentown. What I am wondering is how does everyone do all those hills in the winter walking and driving ughugh! I know we use chains on tires in Pa but I feel sorry for y'all taking those hills and there is no escaping them! Honestly asking what does everyone do?????? Love your apartment, your hair, your makeup. So happy for you! Stay healthy maybe you need a good vitamin B 12 A neurologist said it is such a good thing to take good for the brain! Methylcobalmin yeah check with your doctor it fights depression amazingly ! Available at any fine Health Food Store.
I hope you read my comment❤ you have a job keep creating content make your own lane write a book. Working at a company doesn’t define who you are you do
Hey a good way to help with finding a job is networking. Do you have a LinkedIn? If not, create one and connect to people in your field. Facebook groups in your field are helpful. Also, your alumni groups. Do you have an Lehigh University alumni group in Atlanta? If yes, get connected. Someone may know someone to help you get your feet in the door.
Hey Lexi, I feel you on the job search. I too feel like I’ve been applying to so many jobs (or as many jobs as I can), and I feel like there’s no hope. It will will take weeks or even two months for employers to respond. The job search can also be frustrating, but I try not to get in a funk or sad about it. I know I’m qualified for the job but it’s a matter of the employer/hiring manager to see my potential. My mom told to just focus on school right now [I’m majoring in ultrasound]. I know the right job for you will come just be patient and everything will fall into place. 😊🫶🏾
