I was blown away by how well it was able to detect direction with only four sensors.
    Great job!

I really love your 3D Designing. all is modular and kind of skeletonized but stable.

With a second set of directional sensors, you could have it calculate the approximate distance to the light source, to have different behaviors depending on the distance.

Actually awesome project. I really liked the math part and the entire description you provided to it. The precision and how fast it reacts is amazing!

Glad to here you liked the math! I was worried it would slow the video down, but I found it interesting

I tend to learn as I go, then all the information just falls out of my head haha. I’ve definitely had some good teachers, tho I’d say the biggest thing they’ve taught me is how to learn things on my own

It's called Heaven and Hell by Jeremy Blake, I can't figure out how to link the song from the RUclips creator studio audio library, but I think this is his channel: ruclips.net/user/RedMeansRecordingfeatured

You're using two steppers here, correct? Only seeing a single driver in the diagram.

    • @Sciencish

Yes, two steppers. And the step and dir pins indicated in the diagram are not the same as what I ended up using in the code
