With a second set of directional sensors, you could have it calculate the approximate distance to the light source, to have different behaviors depending on the distance.
I tend to learn as I go, then all the information just falls out of my head haha. I’ve definitely had some good teachers, tho I’d say the biggest thing they’ve taught me is how to learn things on my own
It's called Heaven and Hell by Jeremy Blake, I can't figure out how to link the song from the RUclips creator studio audio library, but I think this is his channel: ruclips.net/user/RedMeansRecordingfeatured
I was blown away by how well it was able to detect direction with only four sensors.
Great job!
Came here from Hackaday. That is totally cool, and also totally creepy...
Thanks! Saw a huge spike in views and had to dig and find the article haha
Another great project! Simple, interesting, and well executed.
god this production quality is insane great shit
I really love your 3D Designing. all is modular and kind of skeletonized but stable.

Actually awesome project. I really liked the math part and the entire description you provided to it. The precision and how fast it reacts is amazing!
Glad to here you liked the math! I was worried it would slow the video down, but I found it interesting
Bro, thank you for what you are doing. You are my inspiration for electronics.
You keep getting better and better.
This the video deserves millions of views
Of all my videos I feel like this one is the biggest underperformer
Great project. Very interesting to try!!
I'm leaving a comment to interact and show my support of the channel.
Great project!
Brilliant project! Already knocks out tons of undergrad engineering projects I’ve seen. Looking forward to your future work!
Thanks! I think it knocked my own capstone out, but that's not saying much since my capstone project didn't work haha
Great build and great explainer!
super cool! just saw this on reddit and subscribed!
Give this man some views. It's been a year and he hasn't even reached 10,000k views? Like wtf RUclips?
This is actually my favorite video I’ve made too haha
Nice !!!
is the clown for sale? asking for a friend
Wow super underrated, Did you learn all of this on your own or in school??
I tend to learn as I go, then all the information just falls out of my head haha. I’ve definitely had some good teachers, tho I’d say the biggest thing they’ve taught me is how to learn things on my own
@@Sciencish Thanks alot keep up the great videos
Excellent work man
Do you think you could share some of the Arduino code?
Does the link in the description not work? I've never shared my code that way so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't haha
i asked you on reddit but if you don’t see it then what’s the song? i’ve heard it before but never knew the name

Oh hey it’s American Tom Holland
I get that a lot these days haha
Hey, does anyone know the song used at 5:15?
You're using two steppers here, correct? Only seeing a single driver in the diagram.
Yes, two steppers. And the step and dir pins indicated in the diagram are not the same as what I ended up using in the code
@@Sciencish Thx!
Ok how is there no little monsters comments on here😂😂
