Hey Lathy, thanks for the build guide! I still really enjoy the helia build, and was wondering in what situations would you go the helia-enchanter build, and which ones you'd go the warmogs build, or is one just strictly better than the other?
I knew this items was insane and I knew I wasnt crazy, I love bard its been a good time already and I was using this on skarner pre nerf if there were any significant changes on him, not sure, but seeing both the warmog and bard together and you doing a video about it just got me excited ngl. I look forward to getting back on the game for this alone, ty for the videos

Is wit's end mandatory? If enemies are full AD it seems like a waste of stats, especially since as support you get your 3rd item later than other roles, and having to wait after your 2nd item to get armor seems like a long time. Or do you simply play the helia build into full AD comps since full AD comps generally have assassins?

1) Slows dont stack and since ur aa/q already slows ur wasting a ton of the passive. so its legit just a waste of gold. 2) if u wanna lean into kill lanes which those imply then Bard doesnt rly do that well and ap supports would do a far better job.

I searched lathyrus' build, and he rarely buys pink wards. Still, he maintains a high tier. Is this a strategy to save on pink ward costs and buy items faster?
Simply put item value has only increased over the years while the value from a control ward is the same. Meaning going for faster spikes I'd the most consistent in soloq
Its hard to maintain the grasp stacks as u have to perma aa the wave which u dont want to do most of the time as u dont want wave to push away from u as it gives more control to enemy botlane, which is not good since bard is weak early game

I've forgot how broken is Warmog passive, very strong to build as first item

One will always be better but not by a ton so if ur enjoying stick to helia it ain't bad at all :)

yeah if ur vs majority ad u go armor item after warmog if ur vs majority magic u go mr
Do you always build swiftness boots, or are there situational games for mercs?
there are games where they have a ton of cc where i opt into mercs

Is it ever worth to build mr and armor components together before finishing the item? I know you recommended doing this last season i think it was.
if ur in that situation i think its best to go for something like Jaksho

U can u can also do locket vs heavy aoe teams the last item is super flexible

U can either get abysmal if u need it fast or keinec rookern

If heavy ad implies 4 ad 1 ap then u go randuins or fh first then wits then more armor

Yeah since u don't benefit from out of combat ms since u have chimes having more ms in combat out values faster recall

Its very expensive for lackluster tank stats, warmogs already give u 15% ms out of combat

1.Why cant you buy iceborned gauntlet?
2.What about comet and scorch as runes?

New-ish bard main here - why did we stop using sleigh? It’s what I’ve been using for a while, did I miss something?
It was nerfed and we lost ingenious hunter which was used to lower the cd

U can do Helia into tank but going full ap is like playing with a handicap not very easy
