Hello guys, anytime I record live with a 64G flash drive, there's always a glitch somewhere in the song. A lil part cuts off and jumps to another part of the song. I tried 3 different flash, same result?
At this time, we do not have any information as to if there will be an update to add a room size control. We would assume that once the TOUCHMIX16 is released, there will be more updates to follow in the upcoming months. We recommend checking back with the manufacturer, using the iPad app along with the board to better analyze the room, or using a secondary device to help calibrate the room.
There are anti feedback notch filters on the board to help control feedback. If you want to do a quick analyzation of the room and you have an iPad or iPhone I would recommend getting an app called iAnalyzer. Its not very expensive and has enough resolution for live sound work. It has a great FFT window and recording capability. Best 20.00 I ever spent. I used all 4 effects (configuring each one according to my needs) and assigned each one to certain channels. However, I noticed that the configuration of the fourth (the last) effect overrode the other three that I had previously configured? And when I attempt to change the other three, the last configuration I created overrides the previous 3.
Can you tell me how someone can run their own monitor mix with restricted access to only that aux mix. They say it's a feature but so far I haven't been able to find it .... thanks ...
In order to run your own personal monitor mix with restricted access to only that aux mix, you must use the iPad app. To set up monitor mixes you would select the "aux mix select" from the aux menu. Hit the aux mix select to go to the mix you want, then use the faders to adjust the sends to the selected aux mix. If necessary, select another bank of channels. This is called "Mix on Faders" and is how a performer using the TouchMix app is able to dial in their own personal stage monitors and only see the channel sends for their monitor.
This is a 2.0 firmware feature. You now have the capabilities for individual monitor mixes and there are security settings for multiple users. It should be up on the QSC site.
Ok ok ok, great! This mixer has all the functionality you desire for a gig BUT (and I'm talking big booty) has does it sound? ....That's my money question for anyone who has worked with it. So, would someone please write to me with an honest opinion?
Edward Swanton it sounds fat and warm. Very detailed EQing, tons of headroom, and feedback killer. There's EQ for mains and individual monitors as well. Plenty of aux outs for separate monitor mixes, and effects can go through both FOA and MON individually. Exceptional unit and EASY to understand and use.

A room size control would be nice to help eliminate feedback. Any plans for a function like that in future updates?
