When it comes to girl groups. People talk about all of these younger groups being the best in K-Pop and all that stuff. No. Because a lot of these groups out here lately normally consist of 1 or 2 people who are actually talented and then the rest or horrible. And if. It's a group of 6 or more girls it's like 2 girls who are super talented and then 3 or 4 who are decent or horrible. But then you have groups like Brown Eyes Girls who have been in the industry for a really long time and have improved over the years. And have many solos and collaborations and all that good stuff. Brown eyed girls is a group of 3 main vocalist and a Main Rapper who actually writes her own lyrics and always has. Like Narsha, Ga-in, and JeA can all sing like crazy good. Sixth Sense is the most perfect example. When JeA hits that F5 and then Narsha and Gain go higher than that and actually use their Whistle register. Not many k-pop female singers have a whistle register. Spica is on of the only few other groups from this generation of female groups where all members are 100% talented. All of them can hit high notes. Even their rapper. like come on guys. These older generation singers need to comeback and remind people what talent actually is.
I don't see how hitting high notes and good singing tie up, sorry. I don't mean to say BEG are not talented, 'cause they're insanely good, but being able to sing has nothing to do with being able to hit high notes. Kim YeRim, for example, has a super low voice and I haven't really heard her reach high with it, but she's a great singer and undoubtedly talented. People should learn that being a "talented idol" does not always include being able to sing your lungs off. Just sayin' PS: I don't want to be mean, but GaIn is even a bit less than a decent singer. She's too breathy and her voice is unstable with a very simple choreo. The other girls are amazing tho
