Fantastic yacht with fantastic options. Great use of space and I like the fact that crew have a decent amount of quality space too. I too like the rear facing main deck facing seating. With the window looking through to the beach club it means that guests sitting there are a part of what is going on in that area too. Good that there is main deck access to the beach club so there is access to the gym and the lounging area even when at sea. A very versatile vessel. Great video - thankyou.
Glad to see you doing more videos. My only suggestions are to slow down a little bit when showing the heads, showers and closets, and to use a wider angle if possible. The narrow hallways, heads, showers, and closets looked almost fish-bowled. Hope you're able to film more super yachts!
1 thing you can count on with this blocker style of boat, room. Personally, I like it, on smaller boats you get roomier cabins, or an extra cabin. On these bigger boats, I think the crew really benefits. Crew space on this are really great. I love this boat. Thanks for getting us a look.
Love the tour and yacht. No sure the word “little” in reference to seating and poker table is the best. Perhaps “intimate” would be a better choice given the shear size of the yacht. WELL DONE though! I’d love to own this amazing yacht! Thank You!
I was going to say the same. Drop using that discriptive "little". Use, "private", "personal" etc. Dont firget closet spaces for crew too. Otherwise very thorough job.
I only just found your channel and I’m pleased I have. Your presentation is superb. It is spot on, and I look forward to seeing your other videos in your catalog. Thank you for helping me dream of one day owning a super yacht.
Nice to see your moving up in the yacht tour world. Great tour as usual. I do like the seating facing the water much better. I could never understand why the seating faced the yacht. I also liked all the refrigeratoration and ice makers on board. Ocean Alexander did put a lot of thought into this design. Till next time.
I partially agree...definitely have the seating area face the water as you mentioned. But the front accommodations freezer ,fridge etc.are an obstruction now.....they should switch........seating area to the front and accommodations behind the seating...gives it clear view to the sea and everything else.......anyway just putting in my two cents.....lol
I live in Canada. So your channel is great for someone who loves yachts. I so enjoy you doing your thing with no hint of the weather. It's just me. Love your channel it is fun. you present the Yachats so nicely. I watch a few channels but you have become my fav. Thanks.
thanks for that... OA is one of my favorites... you rushed as you were in a hurry........so you should look at your video at 0.75 speed... just perfect... thats what I did.... nice of Ocean Alexander to give you this chance...
What a beautiful boat! I really like that aft deck seating facing outward -- you want to look at the water when you're on a boat, not at your back doors.
@@YachtAddiction I'm looking at boats now with the intention of buying a liveaboard, and I keep seeing the classic aft seating facing the boat. It's one of the small things I think I'll get changed when I do get my own.
I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for! The standard seems to be forward facing seating but I’ve seen some boats that have adjustable seating where you can rotate the seating to face aft.
@@YachtAddiction Thank you! My favorites are the ones with backrests that flip, so that you can make it face forward, or back, or lie flat and be a sun pad. Those are usually only on the newer boats, and I'm realistically likely to have to buy one older than the last few years, but I've got a list of things that I might have added if I can afford to do some minor refitting after buying, insuring and finding a place to moor the thing when we're not cruising... and adding one of those multi-way benches is one of them. (So is adding a bathtub if it doesn't come with one, although interestingly, older boats seem to have those already far more often than the latest ones do!)
Great tour of a beautiful yacht, nice to see a real perspective of all the areas, it would be nice to see another small helm up on the fly giving the captain better visibility when docking etc, the only criticism about this tour is that it felt rushed...the camera was a bit quick if that makes sense. Still a better job than I could have done, thank you.
What a vessel. Was a bit disappointed that there was no office/library/den. Joking. Thank you for the tour. Cost ish? Stay safe and looking forward to more.
Impressive yacht but has a serious weakness, there no space for the toys for a 116-foot boat should have a tender garage and space for wave running, sea Boobs, and a lot of toys, omit that was a big mistake
Thanks for this tour. This is a beautiful yacht, and I had wanted to see it in person. I would like to make a couple of suggestions for you to make your videos better. Use a wide angle lens and really slow down your camera movements. It makes it hard to watch the video when the camera is moving so fast. Second, speak a little slower. Again, I like and appreciate the video and look forward to seeing more of them.
I agree. I have to look away on your videos to keep from getting motion sickness, and your rate of speech and jerky movements gives me anxiety. You also seem to increase your cadence more and more as the video progresses. Think about all of the people who don’t give you constructive feedback like this because they are afraid to do so. You have shown some really great boats. I bet if you slowed everything down about 30%, your viewership and subscribers would double. Lastly, I think it would help if you held the camera facing up a little more when walking around rather than angling towards the floor, with wide lens, it would improve the viewer experience. Just some feedback for what it’s worth from a guy that wants to watch your tours, but finds it very difficult to do so because of the things I mentioned.
N is that's a yacht. Not much to change on it. As always you did a great job of showing up around. And your efficient at what you do. Thank you for showing us a beautiful yacht.
Amazing boat and great tour! Question: if there was no "hidden door" from the crew quarters directly into the guest hallway, each of the side guestrooms would gain another 18" in width? is this secret access that necessary?
The concept is that the crew can whip bed linen and laundry items in and out of the guest area quickly and unobtrusively. The laundry is just at the bottom of the stairs.
Great video. Also, I think you're in great shape because a few of the guys who do these videos start huffing and puffing after climbing up and down the endless stairs and rooms on those boats. :)
Love the video. Only a suggestion, please slow down your camera movement. Just a little. The camera is a little jerky. Slowing it down just a tad will make it easier to watch. Beautiful boat.
I appreciate the feedback. I normally try to keep things slow and smooth but I had limited time onboard this one so I had to keep things moving. Thanks for watching!
I saw a few comments on,'too fast' but I thought you did a darn good job showing us the entire ship while it's being viewed by others at the same time. That show was packed with people and you're able to Not show anyone's faces, and clip them out when needed was great too.Well done!I really liked this 'floating hotel' too.
Great video...well done. I suppose the biggest complaint is the speed in which you present the video. I don't mind myself, as I can use the pause button. If you have limited time then maybe you could slow the video down in edit, add image stabilisation and dub a scripted commentary on top. This would also give you the opportunity to add detail that you forgot on the whirlwind tour :) Almost certainly you need to have a wide angle lens that doesn't distort the image so much.
I really like a modern and upright design like this one. Tons of volume on the inside. I’m hoping to film some more Ocean Alexander’s at the end of October!
The only thing that worries me a little is the big window over the bathtub on the bow. The crew has to do a fair amount of work on the bow since that's where anchors and tie ups and things often connect... and I'm not sure I really want to give them a view into my bath. 😊 (The bathtub itself is gorgeous, though... far too few yachts have bathtubs and they are one of my great joys. I also love that great outdoor hot tub... and that they have a sauna.)
At a certain point you definitely would need one. There isn't a hard rule that you need one at a certain length. I think you could probably get away with the Captain being responsible for those duties on this yacht but it's right on the edge.
Superyachts start at 37 meters to (120 feet) and range up to 60 meters (200 feet) so this yacht at 35.6 meters ( 116.9 feet) does not meet the superyacht size. I just a really nice big yacht.
Thanks for your comment. There isn't a hard rule about what length constitutes a super yacht. Some say its 37 meters.. Others consider anything 24 meters or about 78 feet or longer to be a super yacht.
