What Cars at the Geneva Motorshow Would I Like to Buy?

- Due to unforeseen circumstances I find myself back in Geneva which calls for a return to the Motorshow and in fact my first visit to public days of such an event in 5-6 years. After attending the press days to see the latest launches of cars like the Bugatti Chiron, Lamborghini Centenario, Pagani Huayra BC, Ferrari GCT4 Lusso, McLaren 570GT, Aston Martin DB11 and so many more, this was an opportunity to see it the normal way on the public days.
Members of the media are invited to previews at the motorshow in advance of public access to see the launches, and create content about the new cars. Naturally the setup is rather different then for when it opens up so it was very interesting for me to go and understand what it's like at a motorshow as a visitor - rather than media.

Apollo is such a underrated hypercar..
+Manpreet Singh It is but.. isn't that mainly because it's not that stylish? They seem to focus a lot on racing, rather than making an "overall nice car". I of course haven't driven one but.. judging by videos and reviews.

I really don't understand the hate on the Apollo Arrow so many idiots are saying it looks like a P1 and I'm sorry it looks totally unique and looks like no other car plus with how fast the old Gumpert was on track the Arrow will be a monster

+David Starley agreed and people don't realize how difficult it is to design a car that doesn't look like other cars and I don't see any other in the Arrows design that's a huge accomplishment to design something as unique as the Arrow

I was there from the 4th to the 6th, and got onto the Ferrari stand (with key in tow also!), absolutely loved the GTC4-Lusso, especially with the panoramic sunroof option, will definitely be looking for opportunities to get by hands on one in the future!

First of all, hope your mother gets well very soon. And, for the cars, I'm in love with the Abarth 124 Spider, what a beauty. Also, the DB11 is my favourite car of Geneva Motorshow.

The 2017 Ford GT is a wonderful machine, I'd get it in a heartbeat

Just love that Apollo Arrow.
I must have been really lucky today, managed to get into the booths for the Porsche 911R, Koenigsegg, Rimac, Mclaren, Apollo Maserati etc. and even sit in all the cars apart from the koenigseggs and the p1! Seems to be a combination of it being a quiet day and asking very politely haha!

The problem with a motorshow is that you need to find someone to drive you back home after drinking 10 glasses of champagne. Always fun to see cars people even don't know that they are there. ( They always do this at brussels motor show so only "special" clients can exclusively see the car when the car is officialy only displayed in detroit.)

You might be lucky if they let you on the stand, but there is not a big chance they will let you sit in a car.

My 2 cents: No more McLarens, 675Lt is more than enough. They all have same engines, don't sound that great, and are just not interesting enough to have multiple. If you get a chance to buy the 911R, sell GT4 when you can still make a profit. When next gt3 comes with a manual, gt4 values will be go down pretty fast.

Hello Shmee! Do folks from media get access to stands of all brands on press days at Geneva Motor Show? Or brands like Bugatti and Koenigsegg choose whom do they allow inside even on press days? Asking because this year I am fortunate enough to be visiting the show with a press pass :)
Yup you can get on the stand if you want, but the brands decide when you can get on the stand, especially Bugatti.

+Jon theGreat He said it in the video. He owns the cars, so is a potential customer, therefore they let him. Also, since he's a well known "journalist" he gets official invitations from the companies.
I listened to that, however I was confused because he was inside Lambo and Pagani... Maybe it's because of the internet audience.
