    Great info! Have there been any changes that would warrant an update to this?
    Also, any information on selling a full set of charts to a song? (Conductor and all the parts for each instrument and singer…)
    Thanks.

    Hi Garrett. I am new to Arrange Me. What about pricing? I see that A.M. have a minimum pricing policy, but it only seems to mention about how this relates to copyrighted works. What about original compositions? Thanks.

    Yay. I think I can sell my public domain backing tracks with the sheet music along with the actual finished track as a guide (not sold here)

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, if you own the rights to the recordings you can sell those as well (and you should)

    Great video, very helpful, thank you Garrett! I have some questions regarding registering copyrights for my sheet music. Should I do that first, before uploading to sell? What are your recommendations? Also, should I register copyrights on ALL of my sheet music (and the original audio recordings from my RUclips videos), or just some of it? Depending on how many arrangements I'm creating and posting to YT and ArrangeMe, it could get quite expensive registering copyrights on everything.

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  10 месяцев назад +2

      Good question! At this point in your career I would not worry about registering copyrights. They are not required for you to legally own the music. However, if there is any chance your recordings could be used in a sync license or a public performance that could generate royalties I would register them with BMI or ASCAP. (This, of course, only applies to your original compositions, not arrangements of other peoples music).

      @@BreezeTunes Thanks! What about my arrangements of public domain works? Should those be registered with the PRO or with the copyright office? Most of what I currently do is arrange public domain hymns. It’s my understanding that such an arrangement is completely mine. Is this correct? One more question: you mention sync license. I’m still learning this stuff. I think sync licenses are when a song gets included in traditional media like TV shows, film, commercials. And for streaming services like RUclips, that would be micro sync?

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you would own arrangements of public domain@@KeyboardPonderings. Sync refers to anytime something is put to video. If you own the recordings you also determine how that is to be done

    For that MP3 audio sample, should I or should not include? since I am the owner of the song

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  10 месяцев назад

      The sample you use should be the audio of the sheet music. To help customers understand what they’re buying.

    My question is how to upload the PDF - Do I have to have them all in one file? Or can I load each page separately? This is where I am stuck. I don't see where each page is loaded, maybe I'm out of it, but it looks like each time I load a pdf page, the previous one I loaded isn't there? Thank you

    • @BreezeTunes

      Yes. The pdf should be all the pages in one file

    Greetings! Good video, thanks for the information! I have more then 20$ on my account over 1 month but no payment yet. Can you please tell me when payments usually arrive?

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  8 месяцев назад +1

      The payments go out once a month but they are typically paying one month behind. So for example in May you would get the payment for March sales. But customer support is very helpful if you reach out to them with your specifics.

    Does ArrangeMe offer any option to sell physical printed copies? Also, I gave ArrangeMe a full booklet with title page, composer's notes, etc., but ArrangeMe only took the pages of musical notation. Can you provide info on either question? Thanks!

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  10 месяцев назад

      ArrangeMe does not sell any physical products. You should be able to sell a pdf booklet, but only if you own the rights to all the material in it. You’ll have to reach out to their customer support for specifics on that one. Best of luck to you!

    Hi Garrett. I've tried contacting the Help and Support link for Arrange Me, but no response. I successfully uploaded 4 pieces I wrote, but the 5th one, I get an error message that it did not upload, try again later. I've tried every day for a week. I've double checked that it is in A4 pdf format, and it is mp3, not wav. The size of the file is under 15 MB also. Does anyone else have the same problem? Any ideas on what I can try? I have rebooted, tried a different search engine, even tried setting my computer back to factory settings. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    • @BreezeTunes
      @BreezeTunes  Год назад

      Hm. That's a tough one. I know the ArrangeMe team has been travelling lately but I would be surprised if you did not hear from them. Is it possible that the pdf file itself is corrupted? That could explain why other pieces worked but not this one. The only other thing I can think of to try would be to upload on a different wifi network (maybe using your phone as a hotspot). I'd be surprised if that were the answer but that would troubleshoot if the problem was your router. Good luck!
