Megalania is regarded as the common name now, like komodo dragon for varanus komodensis. So it's still equally appropriate to call it megalania or varanus priscus

Reworks are cool, and they definitely usually look better than the official dinos, but let's be honest, newer creatures are 10 billion times more exciting.

For those in the comments complaining about modders reworking/doing their own versions of creatures not in the game please do not complain :) you are not paying them, they are doing this stuff because they want to in their own time. They do not have to make mods. Be respectful.
I think it worth mentioning that PT won't working on meg after apato, once apato is released their priority will be bristlewing. As of now there's no confirmation of what is coming after bristlewing but it will likely be either torvo or meg

I like that they’re doing Megalania Justice but something I never liked about PT mods is they always make their creatures pretty small. Utah is a good example because it’s outsized by Achilobatar

PT is making their models much closer to their actual sizes, PoTs official cast is mostly oversized by a significantly larger margin
