Congrats! I recommend sparing your blade twin because it gives a very wholesome ending & shows clips on what has become along your journey. Now the grind for masterwork gear begins & you should give a boss fight a try that’s atleast 5 levels above yours to see the spike in difficulty. Enemy attacks now do 2-3x of damage to ki which makes EVERY COUNTERSPARK NECCESSARY & if your ki gets broken prepared to get punished 😅
I definitely agree, the combat system alone makes this game a 9 for me. The only thing holding it back imo is the story, i didn’t find it to be all that great by itself. Bond missions and other forms of side quests really get you immersed in the world and overall just helps you get a good idea of whats going on. A lot of my favorite characters became my favorite bc of those side missions.
i think in the end its best to let your blade twin live for 1 you get a pretty cool outfit for two the cutscene is better in my opinion and 3 you get a secret part to the ending credits if they live as well !
One of the best ways to level with midnight is the ally missions I definitely recommend doing it with other people but if you want you can use the special bond items that increase the stats of your allies and take it on that way

@@horizonXII I seen some crazy complaints about female custom characters on this game, like I seen a dude be upset that theirs not enough revealing clothing for the females and that it’s not like skimpy enough and it disappointed him🤣🤣
yea i dont cosign that take AT ALL. If you want skimpy and reviling clothing go play stellar blade. Some people are just weird, but if you wanna say this game had a biased towards the male figure when it comes to clothing i can understand that take.

You haven't completed the first playthrough and started replaying on Midnight yet bro? Best of luck to you when you do though. Midnight is rough as nails. What difficulty have you been playing? Why didn't you take the appearance of the guy with the Samuel Jackson afro though? (The one you chose for the Blade Twin). That is a more interesting character appearance.
i thought it would be more interesting to fight against afro than be afro. I might do a afro samurai themed video/ build. Ive done a few things on midnight but nothing crazy yet im still trying to get these builds ready

I completed the first playthrough at 62 and thought I was fine at least for the lowest public area bottom of map in Yokahama at level 53. I was wrong. I just couldn't get through the boss. He made mince meat of me for so long I lost count and began to get a complex.
Yea if you save him you get a hard main menu of him standing behind you facing away but basically story wise if you save them they learn the error of their ways and leave Japan for their own character arc/growth as a technical good guy
@@horizonXII see that’s the hard part about the story while it’s not in a sense fully fleshed out theirs enough room to make your character your own, all the choices can be justified as the right choice it all depends on your character and you how you intend for his mentality to be. Like my character I didn’t kill anyone when I got the chance cause that’s just what I believed, and I’m ngl I struggled for almost ten minutes to not kill my blade twin after he killed ryoma in my story and on some real 🥷🏽 I hated that 🥷🏽 even after saving him but for me that was my brother and brothers can have complicated relationships but that’s still bro and I couldn’t kill him. If you invest yourself it can get really personal and all the choices you make are your cannon story and timeline until you choose you want to change it and that’s what I love so lowkee if you feel you made the right choice then it was, I can’t say which was actually “thee choice” till I see dlc.
bro thats a great way to put it, i never really thought of it that way. Ig we all do have our own “personalized canon”. i really do think its a shame that this game didn’t get the love it deserves. Hopefully in the future vids like mine and any one else that decides to make content on this game will put more people onto it
@@horizonXII Part of me honestly feels like they didn’t fully flesh it out on purpose to make you feel inclined to read the encyclopedia about the clans and characters. Like there’s really a whole lot here, if you ever have the time read the encyclopedia about the different factions and groups and characters it really changes how you see everything they even have lore behind most if not every fighting style you can see in the game. Tbh the story can honestly be as fleshed out as you want it to be they just make it up to you to care. Like you can play to play and have an amazing time and you can play to learn about the world and still have just as much fun. This is game is a game you can build a relationship with itself get to know the game for its flaws and then really dive in and get to know it and you can see that it has those flaws cause the player is the part that makes it whole in a sense, and that’s not for everyone but the people who it is for will be pleasantly surprised.
@@horizonXII this game is criminally underrated, I’ve sunk over 100 hours in this game and I can’t say there’s another game I’ve dreamt of being able to play more. Not sure how much sense it makes but I will say I’m a bit biased cause samurai’s and the edo period are my biggest interests🤣😂
honestly thats the main negative most reviewers pushed. Saying things like “ its looks like a ps3 game” which is completely false. I think the game looks great, team ninja has always had their own style. Not every game can or wants to look like a ghost of Tsushima for example. So i respect them for staying true to themselves.
Started midnight the other day and it’s no joke Edit/ pretty much of the outposts are gonna have story bosses at them and don’t get me started on arenas
@@horizonXII yea midnight free roam is nuts I’m at level 98 rn and have been doing a pretty good amount but at twice the level of most the enemies the ai and damage scaling still makes it incredibly nuts to fight against especially the fugitive bosses
