You should make it into a sniper so that you can have much more space to house extra components like a auto reload, a much more powerful tank, a motor that can fill the tank by it self, and a magazine.
Working on it right now 😉 so far it's got a laser sight, onboard compressor, dual tanks, and shoots much further. Got some ball bearings on order to see if it can shoot them too 😁. The auto reloading and crimping is proving to be the real issue though...
this version has a lot to improve, especially the air locking system, try making shell type system and magazine. I would recommend better airtank system, it should have main tank and shooting tank(can be pneumatic pipe), reload valve(switch), and shooting valve(as in your version of your airgun) main tank should be bigger than shooting tank. principle of new airtank system: reload valve is opened and some ammount of air from main tank is transfered to shooting tank, than reload valve is closed and now airgun is ready to shoot (assuming that gun is loaded), now you can open shooting valve (make a shot) main advantage of this system is you can shoot several rounds before repumping the system, and if you will make your rifle mag-fed it will be almost semiauto! (if you didnt understand something please ask)
Those are some fantastic suggestions, thanks for sharing! I love the idea of a storage main tank and a firing tank. I'm guessing the main tank would have to be kept at a higher pressure than the firing tank? So then when transferring to the firing tank you could have several shots at full power before it starts dropping. Great idea having a reloading valve - that I can certainly do. Would love to find a way to make the reloading quicker too. Cheers for the tips! 🙏
Add a bolt action that actuates the pump and recharges the cannister for the next shot! (Actually it'd be really cool if it also reloaded since it seems like the the design would already be pretty breech-load compatible, probably the hardest part would just be getting the tubing to be automatically re-crimpable)
Ooooh that's not a bad idea.. I'd likely need a lot of compressors to compress enough air in a single stroke to power it, but it might be possible (like those old crossbows that have a large lever). Auto reloading and re-crimping isn't actually too challenging - my original design used a re-crimping setup! Cheers for the ideas, I'll certainly play around with them 😁

Nice bro, few questions for u How long does it shoot? (What’s the range of your weapon? Can it completed destroy a Lego target? How much air is used? How the mechanism works This creation is truly amazing. Good work :)
Thanks man, appreciate it! Well it's Lego, so it's pretty limited by the nature of it being plastic and leaky. But considering it's Lego I was very impressed. Max range with a needle dart was around 8 meters (26 feet), but the axle with Teflon tape actually got much further. I don't know the max as my apartment is pretty small, but it can do the entire length of the apartment (about 8 meters) without dropping much. It uses the small blue air tank as the reservoir, and the mechanism is explained in the video - just a crimped pipe holding the air in until it is de-crimped. The next version will experiment with more tanks, thicker tubing, and perhaps motorised compression.
Really good video as always, i do have a question about 3:08 the handle is at an angle which normally isn’t possible with 2 parallel lift arms like that without bending them slightly, and the left one doesn’t look like a normal Lego lift arm, is it some sort of silicone part or something?
Oh yeah that one liftarm is a knock-off as I ran out of them, but everything else is stock. And that angle is all done using stock Lego parts.
