not as good as the monitor audio platinum unfortunately but a lot more expensive The platinum 500 ll would eat this speaker for breakfast in three dimensionality imaging depth and naturalness.
Audiovector is my entry ticket to a High-End world. Staying tuned for the new announcements they have for this year but it is very likely that R8's are my next speakers.
if you think the audio vector sound good you should listen to the monitor audio platinum Gen 2 or gen 3, the sound stage is much wider and deeper and more enveloping than the audio vector and they're cheaper too.
Also look at how beautifully machined those screws are.... Inspired from the world of luxury watch making.... A detail that runs from R1 Signature to R11 Arreté. 🇩🇰👌🏻
@@ganck1147 actually I have and even if you go on the forums you'll see the same thing many people that have heard both have said that the monitor audio are much better than the B&W which sounds edgy and bright and I agree because that's the same experience I had and they're definitely not as open and three dimensional as the monitor audio platinum, if I thought the B&W was better I would have bought them the Sonus Faber are also better and so are the audio vector, all three of these speakers were in the same shop so I heard them all together and the B&W came in third between the audio vector and the Sonos Faber but the monitor audio platinum is better than all of them, the driver technology is way ahead of everyone, that MPD tweeter is way more three-dimensional and open than any dome on the market now and way more natural sounding and much faster. maybe you should go listen to them with the same equipment in the same room, I bought the monitor audio platinum 200 ll because they're one of the most three-dimensional and enveloping speakers I've ever heard the sound just wraps around the whole room makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the performance and the speakers totally disappear but everybody has their own opinion and because everybody's ears are different but when Robert Deutsch who is a reviewer for stereophile for over 20 years after reviewing the monitor audio platinum 300 ll said they were so good that he bought them as his new reference that's saying a lot.
@@chrisrichards2827 i don’t think reviewers actually buy spks. I was a part time reviewer 30 yrs ago in a local magazine & i was sometimes gifted items that i review, more so if i tell the dealer that i actually like the product very much. As far as spks go, i guess we all have our own tastes. While B&W & so do many other spk manufacturers have their own preference when it comes to voicing their spks, i guess majority wins especially where sales are concerned. I was just at our local hifi show today & one of the B&W dealers was demoing the Dali spks that he also sells. I asked him why no B&W 800 series D4 spks in sight? His reply was : oh B&W spks hardly need any pushing. They sell by themselves. Enough said.

The audio vector are not as three-dimensional and open as the monitor audio platinum their driver technology is nowhere near as good and I've listened to both here where I live in Vancouver in the same room with the same equipment and the same cables and the monitor audio platinum throw a much wider deeper airy three-dimensional sound stage and like I said I like the audio vector a lot but they are a lot more expensive and not as good as the platinum series and I listen to them side by side and I do like the audio vector very much but they're not as good as the monitor audio platinum sorry

A superb presentation of a remarkable loudspeaker crafted by an incredible Danish company....
Great job Martin.

sounds phenomenal
It sounds even better live.
Nice, can hear the clarity in vocals.

nice choice but very pricey, the monitor audio platinum Gen 2 and 3 a r e better and cost a lot less, go check them out.
@@chrisrichards2827lol not true at all. You have not listened to them side by side.
I think the Tidal has a more open and natural sound with the 3060. What do u think?
Tidals are indeed special. But they cost more than double the price.
I didnt know about the 3 screws, very nice indeed, sounds very good.....

Great system! Has anyone heard Audiovector with VAC amps? I wonder how those two will synergy or lack of.
How does this compare to B&W 801D4?
audio vector is way better than the B&W, but the monitor audio platinum ll is better than both of them.
@@chrisrichards2827 way better? Really? Makes me wonder…..did u hear both spks side by side driven by same amp playing same music?

The piano in this presentation sounds a little bright but that could be due to the speaker wires not the speaker
It could be because of the DAC.
better and cheaper than tidal
