Today we react to My Singing Monsters - Spooktacle 2023 (Official Monster-Handler Short), check out all Rare Wublins with powering up Rare Gheegur. And Bone Island Epic Thrumble! As well as Dawn of Fire Spooktacle and DOF Punkleton!

If you take a very close look on the title screen, to the left below entbrat, you can see the outline for what looks like rare Viveine. The fingers and head line up, and she looks like she's wearing a mask of some sort, possibly tribal themed.
It will be a year and a half since Viveine released on Oct 27 🤔

Well, I didn’t think that we’d be getting seasonals to come soon to Dawn of Fire, but here we are!
It also seems like this will be kicking off a NEW era for DOF as well later in the year, starting off with Mimic being one of the last few quints to be released, and soon, Punkleton kicking off seasonal events, with their corresponding seasonals, in DOF!
Dawn of Fire is going to have a GREAT year this time around!

Rare Astropod had some of its design be based around Gold Island due to being released during Anniversary Month, so I have a feeling Rare Gheegur's design was based around being released during Spooktacle. It does give the vibe of a rotting pumpkin, after all.

This year was totally the best year for MSM. Celestial ascension, the Fire Haven mythical, Mimic in DOF, Ethereal Workshop, and Punkleton in DOF

A note about the Rare Wublins
They arent necessarily themed around the Celestial Elemental Affiliation
They're themed around the events of a month in general
For Example, Rare Whajje is themed specifically around the Blabbit
Rare Creepuscule, while appearing quite toxic looking, also resembled a watermelon, fitting well with summersong's tropical vibe
Rare Astropod isnt necessarily shadow themed, as much as it is themed to resemble the Teals and Golds of Gold Island, befitting a monster releasing during Anniversary Month
And Rare Gheegur looks like a mad scientist you'd see in a Horror Movie, or a halloween special of a cartoon, perfectly befitting of Spooktacle, not representing Earth much at all
Thats not to say they cannot be themed after the elemental affiliation, as Rare Blipsqueak is 100% themed around the Mech element, just that they arent themed solely around the celestial element

Since there are 5 core seasonals, and 5 islands in dawn of fire (excluding starhenge)...
That must mean well get a seasonal event for each island!
I think its gonna be hoola on party island (obviously), schmoochle on cloud island (another obvious one), yool on space island (its the only one left), and blabbit on cave island (rabbits live underground, which is kinda like a dirt cave)

love the video MPG, but the Monster Handlers have said that the Rare Wublins do not correlate in any way to the element of it's month's Celestial. they either just go with what they want, or make it represent something else in the month. like a seasonal event, like with Rare Creepuscule who's a watermelon which fits SummerSong. Which happened the month Rare Creepuscule was released, same here with Rare Gheegur, but with Spooktacle.

I still think that the rare wublings theme is that they are old/ancient/primitive, if you see at the other rare wublings, you can see a really big patern.
As for Gheegur, if he is based on frankeinstain, then that makes him an old tale.
They confirmed it was based on the celestial.
@@AveragePixolotlFan no they didn't. They literally said that the rare Wublins aren't solely tied to the celestials. While some like rare Blipsqueek are themed on the celestials, others like rare astropod or rare Gheegur are based on the seasonal event.

Something I do want to point out is that in the new Halloween menu screen, on the left near to entbrat, you can see a figure that kinda look like a rare viveine, the bush head and the hand that look like viveine but not the same color.
