I am a patient person but this well beyond reasonable. This was a job for the owner to do. Like, ask a nephew or relative if the owner isn't capable. You were their Christmas Elf I guess. May great things happen for you for doing that for them
Wife brings this crap home from one of her clients and tells me to fix it. Not good to say no to the warden. Not that she doesn't say no to me all the time.
I don't know why, but watching this I got a flashback of the old string of lights. The ones where if one light went out the ENTIRE thing would not work and you would have to spend a stupid amount of time trying to find the one bulb that stopped working!
The problem with the older incandescent strings is when being used outside the moisture corrodes the small wires and it works its way up into the the hermetically sealed bulb causing the vacuum to break
That looks very labour intensive got me speech to text working since I can't use my fingers extremely painful text when you got arthritis looks like you're taking one for the festive spirit there
That's supposed to be "decorative"? A bunch of branches tied together... Imagine having this as a job, putting LED's inside these silly things. And you thought those who mounts turnsignals on the Tesla factory had a pointless job...
These things are scams. They're made with material and labor of like 5 EUR and sold for like 150 EUR. And the lights don't last because they're only IP65 or so in reality... And look how this stuff looks. It's rusting away. I wonder how it will look next year where the next set of lights have to be swapped in.
I work with what i have. Last time i did a neighbour a favour I was given a bag of weed. WTF? 😅. I handed it back and said. "no no no no i don't smoke it no mo, I'm tired if waking up on the floor, no thank you please it only makes me sneeze then it makes it hard to find the door".
I was going to say! Didn't you do that last year!? With all the rain, bad weather! Never again. I put nice little lights on windows inside ,call it good no more outdoor crap!!!
I started on it last year and told the wife that it was shot and the only way to save it was to restring the lights. She hands me the lights and said fix it. Ok great now it's gone and i am not tripping over it now so a win win in my eyes. I'll probably get a 20 for my time so i can buy a pizza for lunch some day. Lol.
Hi Dave! Love your Videos. My Computer and RUclips settings are set to German. Recently RUclips started to AI dub your Videos in German (and other languages) and now also the title of your Video. I hate that! I know this is 100% not your fault! I can turn of the AI-audio dub and enjoy you in the original english, but RUclips does not allow me to disable auto-translation of the title. I just wanted you to know that. There is a RUclipsr called Brodie Robertson in his video called "RUclips Please STOP Auto Translating Video Titles!!" at 6min40s he explains how a creator can turn this off: ruclips.net/video/Pk63QMSyg7k/видео.html perhaps you might want to disable this as well? Thanks and keep them great videos coming!

@@12voltvids Maybe your Mrs. will put something under the tree to make up for all you went through in fixing her client's Xmas lawn ornament.

Well... You *could* be stringing popcorn for the tree...!
Nope. Haven't had a tree in years. Ever since the kids grew up I haven't bothered.
