Yeah Tier 1 of Tempest 3 does suck, never had a race need to be that specifically upgraded to achieve the required time. Usually just matching the PP limit as much as possible will do the trick. I tried your 310 tune and I struggled with it so I changed it a bit. I'm 309PP and +477EVO. Engine 5, turbo 4, intake 5, body 0, NOS 5, tires 3 and Trans 4. All fused. Tune: NOS 188/4.2, trans: 2.66, tires: 36/64. Perfect launch, 2nd perfect, 3rd NOS, perfect rest of way. Hopefully this helps some others as well.

@@jumpers500 475 pp limit and what is the target time you need? Also, have you filled all the fusions slots for the parts you have? I can try to setup something but I am full fusion.
The video actually shows all the settings and tunes for the event. You will need a maxed miata to be safe as final time is very close to what a maxed miata runs.
I think an advantage during tempest is having multiple disposable cars. I had duplicates that didn’t have any rarity stars so I made them elites. Got all of the boss cars except Shaxs’ Agera and Victor Kidd’s Jaguar. Both ass cars so no need in getting them and I wasn’t worried about it.
Through that logic, you wasted your elite licenses to cars you are never going to use, you could have done that with Legends cars (they are decent and have bonus 10% RP from Legend status, and after you complete the collection it gets extra 10% from Collection status), or cars with many stars that you wouldnt use -yet-, so that you can use them either to grind RP in live races or getting cash in general because you get 10% RP bonus from eliting cars Also the first five boss cars from the career are all ass cars, but its cool to collect, i elited Shax's Agera even though its the slowest T5 car, and there would have been better choices, the fact that it has purple stars and is now elited, i use it when grinding cash or cups, giving me some extra RP at the same time. All my other elited cars are Legenslds, or other purple star cars
Well I am at the last race, I have tones of fusion parts but not those I need (I need 4 more) and the drop rates are almost zero for mazdas. Sadly I dont have the RX7 to use showdown crates. Any ideas?
Unfortunately, it's a waiting game for now. The elite tuners event eventually will introduce a mazda. Another option is to get a mazda when it's offered for gold to open up crate opportunities. There is no easy way though.

My concern is the razor thin margin between the best that can be wrung out of this garbage pile of a car vs the boss time. I found another tune vid showing FD at 2.02, Tires at 0/100 and Nitro at 212/4.1. It does seem to get a better time by a little, but it barely tops 100 and doesn't get out of 3rd. Seems all these tunes work but this one you posted gives more buffer. In practice I was consistently hitting under 2.2. More consistent, harder to mess up. Thanks so much for this. I drive a focus irl so was really wanting this one.

I will check mine later and update you. However, this car is obnoxiously sensitive about launch point. You have to be on the right spot or it will run slower.
@demisdimou-hs5tm don't rush for tempest. There is no deadline. Do you have any gold star mazdas? If you do you can get fusions by choosing a gold star Mazda, going to rare imports and pulling parts crates.
Its a long time ago when I did this. At the time it was a combination of event fusions and stripped car fusions. Although this is a T1 and did not take many.

@awesomecowboyfan8151 you mean Evo? This Miata only has 3xx PP ranges. Also, are you using nitrous in the right gear? If you run out of nitrous early the car may slow down.
I don't recommend this car at all, hard to launch and stuck without enough fusions, build a 1 star gold gti instead as its plenty fast enough with all fusions, just strip more golf's for more fusions, it's so easy to launch and a much better option so just swap it in instead
@@maxthegamerOG I'm sure you can swap it for the golf? I'm 1 race away but have no fuel so will try when i get some lol. I have placed before and re started and am sure i managed to swap it using Gold
@blueman46 Unless they changed it over the years you would not be able to. Tempest 1 and 2 I recommend the GTI highly. Tempest 3 if we were not forced to use the Miata then GTI would still be a great choice.

The ACS4 will require stage 6s. Do you have the Z4m40i? I never made one specifically for Acs4 but I made one for the Z4m40i using no s6s.

Its hard for newer players. There are a few mazdas in the game including elite tuner. But, until that point only crates can give you more fusions.
For 310 do max turbo and keep engine at 3, evo points are higher

You are probably missing fusions. The best way is have a gold star mazda selected. Then pull petah crates to get fusions for filling this car out.

You do not remove parts. Simply move to a lower upgrade level and install that.

Unfortunately, you may have to put Tempest on the side while doing other stuff. Tempest has no deadline and really does not need to be rushed.

You really need those if you want to win the boss car.

Don't do that. The strip only gives random fusions. There is no promise it will be the ones you need.

I just ran 12.69 with mine. The key is perfect launch, nitrous is not until 3rd gear at 5k. Also, you need to have all fusions.

@Zee Loki I think the issue here is you're thinking of the tier 2 Tempest 3. This video is for tier 1.

That would be what everyone recommends too. Except NM forces you to use this specific car for T1 tempest 3.

To beat Sneak, this car has to run UNDER 12;900 Dyno, and you don't give the proper tune for the 324 race 😠
I am showing 323pp runs 12.7. So I am not sure what you are saying about the tune. You need to have full fusions in the parts used.
