Used this video as a sleep aide as the sound of jet engines put me to sleep. Woke up 30 minutes prior to arrival and watched the landing fully awake. Love take offs and landings. So sad about Thomas Cook. I feel like this is a little slice of history.
Thank you for the comment! I agree - I had no idea when I recorded this that they'd be gone in just a few years' time. And that's so cool that you woke up just as it came into land!
Ginger is good for calming the tummy. Milky and oaty drinks can help too. Stay well hydrated, and take things to distract you like books, magazines, games, music, films, a kindle etc. Let the cabin crew know you're a bit anxious and they'll pay you extra attention and you might get some freebies! Remember that flying is literally the safest way to travel, fact. Harvard University found that the odds you will be killed in a plane crash are 1 in 11 million. For a car journey, it's 1 in 5,000. So sit back in your seat, have a lovely drink and a good chat and know that getting to where you are was absolutely the most dangerous part of the whole trip, and you did it! So the flying bit is a breeze. ALSO! Treat yourself to something nice, only once the flight is over. New shoes, clothes, some posh chocolates etc. As a pat on the back for doing so well and conquering your fear. By association, soon your brain will love flying and you will too! Have a great trip! xx

Thanks for providing these videos. They are awesome and I love the white noise of jet engines to help me study.
Thank you! Me too! haha
The lower deck toilets on these planes are great, more airlines should have them.
I’m very sad about the airline, was a nice airline, Especially since my name is Thomas..
Bock Jagne oof well try Jet2 and if you are quite small and want cheap flights easyJet (NOT RYANAIR OR YOUR MAKING A MISTAKE) tui is also good! ;)
seen
Can confirm Tui is a decent airline
Norwegian is also a good airline and Scandinavian Airlines
Amazing what used to take us months of danger and traversing the ocean now happens in not even half a day.
Hopefully flying with these guys on the same route soon :) great vid btw
Thank you! And have a great trip!
Flying with Thomas Cook soon to Greece. Cool video!
Hope you made it before today's shutdown. Sad day for the UK airline (and inclusive tour holiday) industry...
@@RoadCone411 I still can't believe it. It's such a shame. Thankfully, the holiday I'm on now is with Iberia. So am okay. For now.
