    nicko is sounding a lot better here and they all sound better in general on this part of the tour, the first part of the future past tour was amazing but here they sound a lot better, bruce is also showing what a machine he is since he hasn't gotten any rest, tour with maiden then solo tour and again tour with maiden, absolute beast.

    On a first show of a tour length a song like this will have details that could very well be related to audio monitoring and other stuff, still was a good rendition and I hear noticeable improvement in Nicko's hihat work. Thank you for por sharing! Up the Irons!!!

    Murray's solos are always more stick to the original than Smith's.

    What's Adrian done with his solo there? Did he mess it up a little or was that him just changing it a bit? If the latter it didn't work for me. On the first half of this tour he tweaked his solo on The Writing on the Wall with a few little extra trills and stuff and it was brilliant and better than the album version.

  • @BeardedGuitar
    @BeardedGuitar 2 месяца назад +15

    Bruce needs to really consider not singing so damn much...literally just got off a tour singing his solo stuff and with hardly any rest has to go sing a full Maiden set for several months. And I'd be willing to bet money when this tour is done he'll hit the road again in the States with his solo band...his vocals are starting to suffer and it pains me to say it, when he doesn't hit the note and is talking half the line he needs a rest...I'm a massive Maiden fan and have seen them over 60 times since Long Beach Arena in 85 and I'd rather have them take a year off or more so he's fresh but I also realize time is running out so I guess this Maiden is better than no Maiden.

      @dragonseye00 2 месяца назад +4

      He didn't sound that bad, considering it was the first show of the new leg, and after not playing with the "boys" for over 8 months.

    • @BeardedGuitar
      @BeardedGuitar 2 месяца назад +4

      @dragonseye00 Go listen to Wasted Years from the same show...he's having the crowd sing half the song...he doesn't do that as much as he's doing in that song. If he sounds tired on the first show I can't imagine it improving...I could be wrong, and believe me I hope I am.

    • @dragonseye00
      @dragonseye00 2 месяца назад +2

      Well, you should not expect people to play a solo 1:1 as it is in any recording. Live works actually be a little different, it works be boring if everything is played exactly as on the record. OK, unless you're pink floyd.

    • @IRONBEAST_
      @IRONBEAST_ 2 месяца назад +1

      @@dragonseye00 that's not what i"m saying, what i wanna convey is that he tried a very different solo compared to his usual performances, that's why it's a bit messy imo. I don't expect him to play the exact same thing as the record, it would be useless

    • @BeardedGuitar
      @BeardedGuitar 2 месяца назад +3

      @paisteplayer1040 A lot of the solo stuff is in drop D tuning which is much easier for him to sing in...I wish Maiden would tune down a half step...A lot of bands do it and it helps the singer out...

    Too fast for Bruce. Don't know what they're thinking. Steve is pushing himself with another project on the same road, Bruce havent' had a chance to recover from solo gigs, Nicko is strained to the limit at his age and after health issues he suffered last year. They should consider having a longer recovery periods between the gigs and solo work at this point because it's all startong to be too painfull to hear and watch.
