Our Eye in the Sky for the Fly... get it? Sky-Lark.... so after 60 years, more doors are even looking good now. It's the overall style that matters and the 68-69 Skylarks always shock and awe the crowd. The sweptline sides minimize the front and maximize the rear...only to fade into that razor sharp bumper with slits for tail lamps, and then it folds in on itself being concave. That was a hot design. There was a GM concept car which laid out this theme and it translated pretty well to the production vehicle. Power seat, tilt and A/C... perfectly comfortable for one and all. Thanks for stopping!
Whoa Nelley, Tri-Star (Buick) and what a car. Even though this was "Aunt Millie and Uncle Earl's" car from new, it is still a nice car. Beloit Motor Company is located 221-223 East Main Street, Beloit, KS 67420 and still operates as of this writing. We got the VIN, we win: 4 for Buick, 35 for Skylark, 69 for four door sedan thin pillar, 8 for 1968 model year, K for Kansas City, MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Kansas City MO plant was also known as Leeds Assembly and operated from 1929 to 1988 and was only recently razed. We got the tag, we can brag: 10C for the third week of October 1967 production, 68 for 1968 model year, 43569 for Buick (4) Skylark (35) four door sedan thin pillar (69), KAN for Kansas City MO assembly, 114 for Parchment interior trim, and G-G for Ivory Gold Mist lower and upper exterior paint. Whoa Nelley, 1968 and used to be great. Division 4 may soon be out the door. That's it, time to quit. Four door and it doesn't go anymore. Going to be flat and that's that. 350 and gotta go. Buick sedan might be ready for the trash can. Soon to be flat and leave the chat. Please don't get squished because all of the "A" body faithful, many here, Benny more than likely and yes, the Google Man are all going to be very, very, very pissed.
I bought a 68 Skylark for 110 dollars in 82 that the 10 bolt rear-end was bad, bought another rear-end out of 68 Malibu for 10 dollars. 350 four barrel powerglide. It was the typical old person's vehicle tan with light brown vinyl top. It was a great driving vehicle
I do believe there is enough good metal to make it a good rig... and so five thousand dollars in rust repairs if you did it yourself, then its a great two thousand dollar car. I happen to be a older person at 75 so driving a more door makes sense and would drive it as is till the wheels fell off. I liked the buick and had a few over the years... liked those with the distributor up front
What a lot of people don't understand is that just because you find a car in Texas doesn't make it a Texas car. This one might have spent most of it's life in the rust belt, and just came down to Texas last year....which would explain the rust
I used to have a 69 Buick Special 2dr, a step down from the Skylark. Had to scrap it when the water pump mounting bolts broke and left me stranded about 40 miles from home. Ran great until then
I love Skylarks but I’m not a huge fan of the ‘68-‘69 “sweepspear” side molding detail on those. The ‘70-‘72 are my favs, also really like the ‘67 and earlier style. Nice car for sure though, really like the station wagons of these.
Would be a sweet cruiser. Doesn't matter to me how many doors a car has ive never understood the mentality of people hating on 4drs. At least with extra doors you don't have people climbing over the upholstery getting in the back. If it's a nice car I'd drive either
Power base bench seat is crazy .

That's about what they went for around 1982.

That car can and should be saved. Regardless of how many doors it is a classic that they are not making anymore of. She’s worth the asking price
Great car
Good looking car..easy restoration

I saw a Karmann Ghia on the road yesterday. I hadn’t seen one of those in ages.

Good looking Buick, I like the color with the white interior. If she ran, I don't think the price is bad at all.
It's actually off white called Parchment in 1968.
Where is this car, witch yard? I’m putting together a 69 skylark conv and I see a few parts I’d like to have or need !
Benny and the jets nice car would be really nice if it was a gs 400 4 speed. How much was the pickup next to it.
Finn Mcmissile is at His side
