Audley was my guitar teacher for a while when I was just starting out… Good ole Harry’s Guitar Shop back when it was on Glenwood. Then years later after Custer blew up the Raleigh music scene with CoC, Cry of Love, Dag, etc… I was playing around town and eventually the ‘frat circuit’… Sadly the Raleigh music scene isn’t quite as prolific anymore, but It was an amazingly special time to even be a tangential part of that scene. Audley is a freakin beast, just like sweet Uncle Larry and a damn nice guy with an old soul.
Still can't get enough Could be the 13 yr old Dickel talking but man alive this was an absolute KILLER show front to back! Thanks to Frampton, Jamey Johnson, Govt Mule and anybody else involved for bringing this one to Nashville. No way it's the Dickel. IT'S THE MULE #warrenhaynesgetsit
Was there 8 rows from the stage. Most powerful performance of any song I've ever heard. Make me tear up if I think back hard enough lol. Just an unbelievable night
Nice guitar solos from everyone. Very classy, Mr. Bukovac…..passing on a golden opportunity to just endlessly jam your ass off, because a true professional knows the song is what’s important, not the distraction.
I was at this show...3rd row balcony and I didn't think Mule was going to play Cortez and they did the last song of the show and then walked and came on for the encore. It was amazing. I love when they cover this and it sounded incredible at the Ryman.
Audley is a badass mother ,wish he was louder in the mix ! Nothing gainst Buk and the Mule (Warren) but give a man his due damn it ! Thanks for posting this bro 😎
I think Audley plays with the mule quite often Audley is NC to it was Buk's home town i think Audley stayed back and let buk roll i think they all respect each other very much and they should all three of them are badA$$
Thank you for posting this! Mule and Little Tommy are the greatest. I heard about this and looked for it several days ago, but I couldn't find it on the Tube. Thank you, again!
Great fan shot video. Dynamite sound One of the best shows I've seen in my 61 years of existence from start to finish. Not one player missed a single note. Would give anything if this entire show were put out on DVD.
Oh, I don't know. Neil may have done just as well a time or two. Some might say he's possibly done better a few times. Sort of depends somewhat on the listener's overall experience. The Mule certainly does respectably well when sharing the stage with talented guest musicians.
So who was using the vibe effect? And what was it? Meaning maker model ect.. uncle Larry any idea? I have not found one I like yet except the Neo vent and that is not in my current budget ( until my wife finally returns to work) on another subject. Does anyone have any idea or feelings on a custom shop 57 Les Paul juniors versus the real thing the real thing is really expensive right now, even for a players grade beat the shit one which I might be able to afford but other glass bowl Junior specifically and 57 which I’ve played two different guitars of the year is one of the most absolutely hands-down kick ass rock ‘n’ roll machines ever created. I wish I could afford one because their magic don’t know how I feel about the custom shop rear shoes.
@@bearpaw1486 You misinterpreted what I was saying.... I'm not saying anything negative about Tom... Obviously I'm saying I don't like Warren Haynes. I honestly don't know how you interpreted what I said, as, "Tom would be better if he was playing by himself", the way people's brains work (or lack thereof) genuinely confuses me sometimes.
Uncle Larry + the mules! i'm in heaven.
Tom is so locked into the vibe all the time. God he's so Special!
Love Tom and I think Audie might be one of the most underrated players out there.

I'm sure this doesn't capture it at all.
Uncle Larry and Warren. This is awesome to see. TY!

Cocoon of sound. Uncle Larry! They are all killing it!

Love Neil great cover job on a classic tune.
I watched Uncle Larry the other day and he has just been to this concert the night before

Doesn't get much better than this!

Uncle Larry burning down the Ryman.
uncle Larry aka Tom Bukovac @501chorusecho My Lord! Just freakin amazing! Didnt want it to end!

Starship Trooper rippin it with the Mule!!!!!!
Great to see Uncle Larry!
Top 3 Mr. Young songs! Warren always brings it!
So satisfying yet leaves you wanting more
The genius is Neil Young, listen to the words. What a song, IYKYK!

Great to see Uncle Larry with the Mule, this song has never been versioned this well!

Built to Spill released an amazing version of it.
Hell ya! Uncle Larry!
Simply amazing! So much feel in that song. Top of the heap musicians!
Thanks for sharing!
Doing a great song justice.
This is awesome thank you for posting it
I'll bet the majority of the people there had no idea who the guy with the SG was, our own Uncle Larry!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ I mean I’m all the way there I’m loving this
❤️❤️❤️❤️back, been back and will keep coming back❤️❤️❤️💜
❤❤❤❤back, back and back again
❤❤❤❤back!
Such a blast
mind numbing interaction. what a Great live jam. yeah!
3 guitar jams can get rough. This is smoooth!
SWEET!!!!!
HIT IT JORGEN !!!!!!!!!
Built to Spill's 20 minute version from Live (2000) is pretty sick as well
Yes! My favorite version.
See ya Thursday.
Now I have to watch Neil do it!
Excellent!
THE MULE, THE MULE, THE MULE! LONG LIVE WARREN HAYNES!
The WIRE CHOIR....!!!!!!!
Hello fellow home skoolers !
I hope they filmed it
Uncle Larry!
Uncle Tom always gets it done
Did Warren refer to Tom as Uncle Larry?
As awesome as this is. A wise man once told me to never trade a horse for a mule

Warren uses a Hughes & Kettner Rotosphere.
@@Dj2Splash thanks it sounds good
Can't beat a Gibson custom shop guitar imo. Love my r8
@@tomwright4984 I’ve enjoyed the R9’s I’ve owned
Great version, but second to Live...With A Little Help From Our Friends featuring Marc Ford.
it's tough to be a keyboard player in a guitar band!?
This is true:-)
Maybe, but he is just as important.
@@jonaskarlstrom4152 the keyboard is very important but not to many electric guitar players who want to be LOUDER! ha
Those 2 guys could be pretty good with a little more practice. If guitars could smile, I see an SG and a Les Paul that would be grinning ear to ear
To be honest I'd rather hear Tom play by himself on stage.

@Gruber Amps Are you saying you are confused do to a lack of a functioning brain? 😁
Taste is subjective
@@thevirtualacademy8117 That's why I say "I'd rather", instead of "you'd rather".
Huh???
I have heard better, not too much cohesion go on on this one.
