This is such a fun and affordable activity to do with your kids or family leading up to Christmas. You have full control of what goes inside the Christmas Advent Calendar. So fill it with chocolates, toys or anything that will fit . Please be mindful of choking hazards for kids!

Could you use wrapping paper instead of scrapbook paper for around it?
Thank you for watching! You absolutely can wrap each individual roll up in wrapping paper to fully cover it instead of using scrapbook paper around the edge. It just may take a bit longer to wrap them all up and harder to open. But will look very tidy and beautiful! Happy advent calendar building x
You could paint the rolls instead
You sure can paint the rolls aswell. That would look awesome too! The beauty of this project is that you can be as creative as you like. Thank you for watching xx

do u know another thing i can use instead of toilet paper rolls?
How did you do the front ?
I did the front by laying the Christmas tree flat on the front of it. And inserted the cupcakes cases from the back making sure all the numbers faced the right way up. I used a pencil / pen to help push the cases right down inside each toilet roll. Then inserted the treats/prizes for each day of the advent calendar. Once I have filled each roll up, I inserted another cupcake case on the back with the flat part of the cases going into the rolls first to seal it off. I hope this helps :) Thanks for watching!

I like The idea, but your result has not a clean finish.
Thanks for watching! I think next time I make this I will wrap each roll individially before glueing it together. This should make the finished result have a much cleaner finish :)
