Thank you PJ for another great review of the RPOD models. My husband and I purchased the RPOD 195 in August from a dealer in Ohio (we are from the East coast) , the 196 model was not available at the time. We upgraded from the RPod 177 and find the 195 spacious for us and our dog. We our not full time RV travelers, therefore, there is more than enough storage for our clothes and camping necessities. We love the dry bath , it’s very easy getting in and out of the walk around bed, love the vacuum. The kitchen counter space is sufficient for meal preparation; we cook outdoors on a camp stove and I use the dinette table if more space is needed. RPod 195 also provides an extra table for outdoor use. The only negative comment is that it’s awkward for 4 people to sit at the dinette table because of the table leg configuration . Our solution is to use a smaller table with different leg support. I don’t find the low placement of the microwave any different from that of a conventional home oven. When choosing between the 196 and 195 models, the consumer has to decide between the couch seating and pocket door of 196 vs wrap around dinette and hinged bathroom door of the 195.
Love that they are thinking if our fur children :-). So many if us have companion pets these days
My God, 7 feet more makes a big difference. Love the big banquet! Great kitchen! But needs a pullout above water heater. Nice oven, you can get a small turkey in there.
Now this is impressive! A real refrigerator, a freezer! In floor vacuum, oven! Oh ya, this is way better than the truck camper if your in your 50’s. Love drawers in the kitchen, too!
What a great design for a long weekender.
You are outside most of the time, so hope awnings are possible and a grill??? Please say there is under the bed storage for clothes and shoes?
It is tiny, but a step up from the truck camper. I’m not familiar with camper potties, do they get smelly like the boat heads do? Major pet peeve. The boat I’ve traveled on was spotless but, there were other issues involved in flushing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Congratulations to whomever designed this small camper! LOVE THE GRILL!
One of the best layouts I've ever seen regardless of size.
Yup. I wanted the 196, ended up with the 190 and have some regrets.
She makes it look so easy to put that bag in there but believe me it's not that easy this woman is excellent at doing everything she does such a nice job of showing these trailers
A great floor plan and video! PJ is the best tour guide! Thank you 😊
Loving the new floor plan.
This has to be one of the best little low cost travel trailers out it gives you everything in a small package easy tow with a 2020 Ford Escape Titanium 2 camp chairs & camp table best setup for low cost
Great tour! Very informative.
It’s a great floor plan if you don’t mind sitting on the couch and staring directly into the bathroom. Check out the 202 which has an entertainment center and fireplace next to windows that you will be looking at instead. 😉
Thank you. Great features, like the solar option.
Future point of failure: the unguarded connections for stuff under the deck. Design a cover or provide a tough bag to protect them from the debris thrown by the tires. You don't want these connections to get leaky.
Love it!!
A converter doesn't convert 12v into 110v AC, it converts 110v AC into 12v. An INVERTER converts 12v battery power into 110v AC. Very few RVs come equipped with an inverter.
Correct. Sorry we misspoke and thank you for the clarification. It's useful information for who are looking and new to RV system. Thanks again!
You look great!
Emergency exit incase of fire?? Switch for slide out/ view from inside of slideout; great job as usual...very smooth.....knows the product. Weight? Tires look a bit small.
Do not let the children play with the vacuum do you will lose your cat, LOL a little humor always goes well
Vi.bonitoooo.gostou!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤟
I wished it had the length on the screen so you can see if it if you missed it at the beginning I would like to know on all of them. Please place it on the screen so we will know ! Thank you,
Just clarifying so I can hopefully edit better going forward. The length of the screen... the television screen? The door screen? The window screen? ... The duration of the video? Let me know so we can see how we can improve!
Someone who does the dirty deed, don't like the two separate drains. Should be dual axle, have two propane tanks for the price of those things.
Poorly designed by someone who does not camp 🤣
I’d prefer recliners instead of jack knife couch . Is thatAn option?
Yes
Would like to see a murphy bed and a small dinette in the slide instead.
I would like plywood in that storage space under the bed it might take up a little space but it would be well worth it. osb board would work aslo.
you need to edit the converter function
Very thorough and helpful tour, PJ! We are wondering if Forest River allows the buyer to select the couch from the 195 instead?
The couch dinette (195) or sofa (196) option is the only difference. Everything else is the same.
If this was a Geo Pro I would go buy one tomorrow. I wonder if the Geo Pro will eventually have a walk around queen and a 2 door fridge freezer. All they need to do is make the 19fbs 2 feet longer. I guess it would be called a 21 fbs.
Geo Pro is produced by Forest River, the same as this R Pod.
Can my 2006 GMC Envoy SLT tow this R-POD 196?
Wife sitting on couch watching tv eating diner: honey diner is ready.
Husband sitting on toilet: looks good from here just let me wipe.
I’d rather see the kitchen across from sofa then the bathroom
@TOM ARCHERlmao
Many other R-Pod configurations available, such as the R-Pod 195. Check them out. forestriverinc.com/rvs/travel-trailers/r-pod-west-coast?RegionSelected=1
Close the door.. I leave mine shut.
Don’t poop before or during dinner 😂. I would hate to travel with nonsense....🙌🏽
I was thinking the same thing
Love your cavans but hate the leather sofa. I think cloth sofa's are much Comfortable to sleep on.
It is not real leather, products from China is a fake. Sintétic leather sofa.
👍
IT IS THE best one i have seen yet. did i miss a microwave/
Yes. Microwave convection oven under stove top..
Drinking game...everytime she says I love....in any video..
Storage is always an issue.
Are there no reading lights for the bed? How about the sofa? Doed the TV play DVD's? Thanks and Cheers!
Jon
No reading lights above the bed. One light centered above the sofa. The entertainment system has an HDMI input for a DVD player if you would like to connect one, or you can plug a streaming device like a ROKU, Chrome Cast, Apple TV, etc. device into the HDMI input.
Is an outside grill an option? I've seen other reviews show it in the front pass through storage. If so, how much is that option?
That is an option. It's $445 if installed at the factory.
The couch faces the toilet. Why is that good?
This looks the same as the 195, but with the addition of a vacuum and a different sofa.
My wife and I are in love. That looks like a nice set up. What is the price point?
Is the hood river edition the same MSRP as the regular model?
Unfortunately, we don't have access to the Hood River products due to regional constraints. I imagine they would be very similar price points, but only a Hood River dealership can give you a better idea.
Haha, headphone warning next time you use that vacuum! 😆
Indeed! Sorry about that!
You're all over the place.
How much???
A the price si alwais important please
It would be nice if you could mention the price during your presentation
Agreed! They should at least state MSRP.
Agree
Lots of great features until we get to the dual dump pipes. That's twice as much poop as I wanna deal with.
Brent Porter here from Princess Craft. I'll do my best to answer your live questions. I'll be on for approx 10 minutes after the video.
I don’t have a question, just a comment. PJ is the best!! 👏👏
How much?
Does it come in a 25 or 27 ft size? Love the light color of cabinets and neutral decor. Finally not dark inside. A+
Are twin beds and option with this model
The R Pod 191 is the model that has twin beds.
Nice review, but would like reading lights above bed, theres no counter space if your using stove top and sink, which I always use when cooking, my back aches just looking at having to make that bed to look nice and neat, why never a full size bed in campers so you have more room on each side?? Lastly bathroom is great except that shower door/curtain unless it comes off how would you ever clean it?? Thank You!
@TOM ARCHER wow, guy. People can have opinions. Do you go through life attacking people unprovoked when their opinion differs from yours? I'll bet you're a real treat to be around.
You just need a bigger trailer. There is a limit to what can be done with a small trailer. The bigger you go, the easier they are to live with, bigger counters, full length beds and no extra storage space needed so you can walk right up to the front of the trailer. What you want, will never exist in a trailer this small. Sorry.
TOM ARCHER that's nunya.
So the only difference between this and the 195 is the couch ?
Yes
@@PrincessCraft
I think more manufacturers need to have king bed options in their trailers campers etc. Many of us camp with our dog or dogs and guess where they sleep , that's right . They love to snuggle up with us .
Mungus
Is there a shower
Tonya Reddinger yes there is a shower. She showed after she showed the bedroom. Behind the pocket door
Is the underbelly enclosed?
No, not on this model.
Price ?
Why not just sweep it out the door?
Pric
The different wood color for the pantry door is ugly
No table to eat in doors ??
I saw a table in the beginning of the video . The RPod specs were superimposed over the photo.
The microwave down so low would be a deal breaker.
Lower microwave always has been best for safety. Higher its too easy to spill hot food.
We didn't need a five minute illustration on how to change the vacuum bag we got the idea that could've been reduced down to like one minute
I am tired to look vídeos about RV, because after seen that never give a price, and I am consider that I was lost my time. Thank.
The coat rack is a bit to close to controls. Easy for a child to touch or someone accidentally having a big coat with hood to hit switch.
I claimed it in Jesus name amen
I like a camper with a stove in it not a conventional oven because of your dry camping how the heck do you supposed to use it when he got to carry a generator with you they make Camp is terrible today I don't understand it there's not enough Windows on it or nothing
Wha??
Sofa in front of the bathroom?? sitting down watching tv while hearing someone relieving themselves is rather unpleasant. Tires are small trailer too low to the ground. Like everything else.
Too much talking about same thing.
PJ just "loves" everything in every trailer so much that I am sick of watching Princess Craft videos. She talks to much. Just get to the point!
Perfect for the people who are really thinking about getting the trailer. You really get a great idea how the trailer operates from just a video. I watch the video at a 1.5 speed but I think she is doing a great job.
Which I am serious and have probably watched at least 60 videos she has narrated, she just need to stop "loving" everything. Only saying she needs to find some new verbs/adverbs to use.
