    Wow. Wow. Wow. How inspirational. I am planning to do this with a set of luggage that is brand new, but just not quite the right shade of red. Thank you so much for sharing this.

    Now that you've painted them, do you do any additional treatment to maintain the finish? TIA I love your decor/style!

      I have edges of bar stools peeling. Can this method last on edges only?

    • @marcieziv
      @marcieziv  8 месяцев назад

      @MrHMB96 hello! If edges are peeling you’d need to sand and prepare area properly before proceeding to paint. Short answer is yes😀

    I use the same paint for my furniture, but this paint is acrylic. After the paint has dried, this paint is erased quite easily, even if you wipe it with a wet cloth. I don’t think this paint is durable enough for furniture.

      Hi! I’m unclear here. Are you saying you’ve used it on leather furniture and it came off??

      It’s coming off when I try to clean leather with just a wet cloth

      @marcieziv  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@MrMaksi1990 wow. That is so strange. I’ve had nothing but success with using this paint. I cleaned the red club chairs the other day with leather conditioner and nothing came off. I suggest to you to contact the manufacturer Angelus. They can help you troubleshoot. When you get an answer- and you will- please post your findings. 😊there’s an answer for pretty much everything! Thank you for watching my channel and taking time to comment. Great way for us all to learn.

    How long between coats? How many bottles did you use?

    • @marcieziv
      @marcieziv  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hello Mary;
      When I made the video it was raining outside, so very damp and humid. I waited an hour and half in between coats sometimes. Then there was a day that was super nice and I only waited 30 minutes. You will be able to easily discern your timing. If it’s super dry to touch make another coat of paint. I used 2 1/2 bottles of paint. 4 oz. Each bottle. Thank you for watching my channel😇appreciate you to the stars and back⭐️

    • @marcieziv

      Hello! Not long at all! As soon as it was dry to touch like 30 min I put in a second coat. Thank you for watching my channel! So appreciated😊

    Couldn't you technically do this with other leather objects? I have no need to paint furniture but I definitely might need to paint some things like clothing or accessories.

    Dont you seal it?

    • @marcieziv
      @marcieziv  Год назад +1

      Hi Sarrah; Angelus Leather Paint once dried completely is waterproof. It doesn’t need to be sealed. That said, I have used a satin sealer on my dining chairs as an experiment. Both the red club chairs and my dining chairs look and feel amazing. I’d say personal preference prevails. Thank you for watching my channel!🤗

      Wonderful video thank you. Do you usually paint in a color similar to the original color?

    • @marcieziv
      @marcieziv  Год назад +1

      Hi Cindy! The short answer is no. In this particular instance I wanted to restore the luscious apple red of my club chairs and hassock. In other videos I have completely changed color. In an upcoming video my sofa goes from espresso to white. 🥹 thank you for watching my channel and taking time to leave a comment❤️🤗🦋

      Hi there! Hmmm…. All I can say is from my experience that the paint has been great. I’ve done my dining room leather chairs as well as the red club ottoman and chairs. No cracking, chipping or fading or rubbing off. 😀
