As the #2 player on the XP Leaderboard, I can 100% verify to you that the Mako is a better buy for those who tend to be extremely good at shark, despite the low amount of health. It has a significant and noticeable speed difference when catching up to boats, and my win rate also increases. The Orca is just there if you want a lot of health. The speed is still good, but again, there is a noticeable difference when it comes to the Mako. I only recommend using the Orca during Oil Rig rounds, as there are such a high amount of players in one area that could easily take you out if use the Mako. So the point is, buy the Mako if you feel like you are significantly good at being the shark compared to others, and buy the Orca if you are still just getting into the gist of being the shark. In other words, buy it if you literally stay on the surface of the water 24/7. Just buy the Mako and swim on the ocean floor so no one can shoot you. Easy.

Mako is good in noob servers, but if you want an almost guaranteed chance of winning every time you play shark, orca is the good option because it’s still a lot faster than most of the sharks and it causes a LOT of destruction which means it’s good for destroying big boats and its health is good for surviving shark hunters. You have to think this stuff out. Just because it’s the fastest doesn’t mean it’s an automatic best shark. Because then you will still barely be able to destroy big boats and you can die easily. Just get orca for the easier win.

It doesn't matter what shark it is it doesn't matter if your skills are good it's just that this game has an obvious advantage for pc players it doesn't matter if you are shark or surviver still pc players have advantage You see if you are surviver for pc people you can look underwater and shoot the shark underwater but for mobile you can look underwater but can't shoot at the same time And for shark for pc people the shark turns to way where your mouse is pointed but for mobile You can't turn very well the server people can play with you all they want and you won't get anywhere

It might just be me, or my habit to always join my friends in pro servers, but I tend to have an increased win rate with the Mako. And in a casual server, who even has to worry about being shot to death when half the people don’t even equip their guns. 💀
Mako is only good in a server full of noob. If you have people activly hunting and shoting you then you will lose as mako there for orca is overall just better
