Good explanation! Thank you for going through the maths. Not sure about t1 and t2 - “top and bottom of the earth” though. Was the observation just one sighting of the the first time that Venus occluded the Sun from two antipodal locations on earth?
No Problem, thanks for watching. During the Transit, observers at different latitudes will record the transit time being different due to parallax.
can you pleas provide any reference for this.... its little urgent
if the r value of earth is incorrect then this all falls apart of course
