    Love this idea! Great idea and loved how you processed what you were doing as you did it. I will be making one and I think I’ll try adding color to the glitter ! Thanks for sharing.

    Great idea! I think I’ll use my 4x6 zip bag for the pouch though. Works great with no fiddling around. These dies are a lot of fun to play with! Happy crafting and thanks for the inspiration.

      Thank you so much for the comment! I bet that would work a little better since it's thicker than the packaging that I used.

    Very creative way to incorporate shaker. You should be pleased. I like your idea for vellum fins.

      Thank you so much! And yes - the vellum fins! I meant to point that out at the beginning of the video, but I got distracted talking about Vicky! And then I forgot to mention it again when I noticed that I forgot to make the tiny fin a different color. Point is, I ramble a lot! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment ♥

      @@allisonfrazier and I appreciate the way you teach, and the fact that you use scor tape, very few youtubers use scor tape in their card making, videos, they usually use glue, which is perfectly fine, but I have a hard time with glue and so I use scor tape. When I find videos where youtubers use scor tape, it is wonderful, it helps me with my learning process. 💕💕

      @@pattyfromherz9965 Thank you for this comment. I do use scor-tape a lot but only for certain things. It is definitely my go-to for tape, though. I have ran across comments here and there about how people like to use glue for shakers and things like that because their scor-tape doesn't hold, but I have never found that to be true. I also love using the tape when I have a warped panel, and I attach it to a card base which helps keep it flat.

    • @pattyfromherz9965
      @pattyfromherz9965 6 месяцев назад

      @@allisonfrazier I use glue to for certain things as well but every time I try to glue a card topper to a card Base it always warps on me, so I just use the scor tape. Glue has its uses but scor tape is my go to for most things. I just wish more people would use it in their tutorials, but I know it does take longer than just using glue or those tape runners. I tried tape runners also but there isn't much in them and they are not cheap and some of them don't work right. But scor tape never fails me.💖

    Super cool! Absolutely love this card. And your bottom fish is not sad like you think. 😂 It looks like the fins are vellum. Awesome job.

      Thank you so much! Oh, I do love the vellum fins on the fish - I meant to point that out in the video. I was talking about the teeny fin on the front that I usually cut from a different color just to give the little guy some pizazz. I didn't realize that I forgot that until I was doing my voiceover, so I started to ramble on....hahaha

    I’m amazed that the rock candy glitter doesn’t stick to the entire surface - I’ve been searching for something to emulate sand and this appears to be the perfect solution!

    • @allisonfrazier
      @allisonfrazier  6 месяцев назад

      This glitter would be perfect for sand, and even better, you can color it with alcohol inks! It doesn't stick, but it definitely made the packaging a bit cloudy. Normally when I make shakers, I use an antistatic powder tool on the background of the shaker, but I didn't want to make the packaging cloudy with the powder. Turns out it got cloudy anyway! Using at least one piece of acetate for the shaker "sandwich" would cut down on that...I think! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment ♥

    I just got my tunnel dies. I love to make these kinds of cards but I always screw it up a few times when making them dimensional like you did. I've watched Jennifer McGuire make so many of these but it seems that I have to make a few mistakes before it really goes right! Loved your cards

    • @allisonfrazier
      @allisonfrazier  6 месяцев назад

      Thank you for watching and commenting! I agree - making mistakes is kind of par for the course with these types of cards. My biggest problem with these is that I think I was expecting the spacing to be perfect. So then I thought I was doing something wrong. The fact is that these cards look so awesome even if the spacing is off (which you only see from looking at it from above). In any event, mistakes are how we learn!

  • @KimFaith01

    Wouldn't it be easier to use an acetate envelope as for the shaker.😊

    • @allisonfrazier
      @allisonfrazier  6 месяцев назад

      Yep! I mentioned in the video that I think acetate would have been better than the packaging. I'm not sure about both sides being acetate, as I'm not sure it would allow much movement for the shaker bits. But, it's worth a try! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
