I love that you zoom in so you can really see where you have to stitch into and that you go slowly and really explain and show the stitches....I'm a slow beginner lol and you are one of the best! I always look forward to your next tutorials! I can't wait to try this one!
That’s great to hear! Enjoy :)
Can't wait to make. I have so much extra yarn - especially bulky - that I can probably make 3-4 of these. I'll definitely give it a go. Thank you for sharing your talent and your gift.
You’re very welcome. This blanket will be a great way to use up your collection :)
I really think you are one of the best, if not the best, definitely my favorite, person on RUclips to teach, show how to crochet anything, hats, blankets, or just different stitches. Thank you so much for all the time you put into your videos/tutorials. You explain everything perfect!!!!
Thank you for such a beautiful blanket pattern, for your careful, detailed instruction and your excellent camera work which makes it so easy to follow along.
So pretty. You always have such amazing creations and demonstrate them so well. Stay wonderful! God bless
Yas!!! I have a huge stash of this that I bought a few years ago for a project and then decided that I didn’t care for the pattern. The first blanket I ever made was in this yarn and I free handed it with no pattern. This was back in 2011 or 2012, it’s been through a move, storage, shift in climate (from dry to humid) and is falling apart. My husband loves the blanket sooooo much. Holes have been sewn back together. But I have been wanting to replace it. ❤
I have lots of 6 weight yarn so I think I'll be trying this. Thank you.
Oh this is so gorgeous, just looks so warm and cozy!! Thanks for sharing!
omg this is the most beautiful blanket pattern i've ever seen! love love the texture. it gives me eastern seaboard vibes lol thank you for this! can't wait to make it xoxo
Thank you so much and I’m glad you like it! It is super cozy :)
Such a beautiful pattern !! Thank you so much for sharing the video and the pattern ☺️
Thank you for sharing your skills , lovely pattern 👏
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you like it :)
Just in time! I was looking for a new pattern to start a new blanket. Can’t wait to get started. Thank you! 😊
Perfect! You’re welcome!
very beautiful and warm💕👍
I tried the herring bone stitch and I loved it! And I’m ambidextrous so I don’t have to do any of the rows from the back which is kinda awkward for me, I just turn the work and do them all facing me from the left and when I’m done start my way back with the right
Beautiful and easy. Thank u🥰🧶
I love this pattern you were a great teacher, you took your time and went through every stitch. I will be making this real soon. I subscribed to your channel.
Hi Sarah :-)) Well just ordered my yarn to make this throw...I had trouble finding the quantity that's needed but I was able to purchase it from Michaels.....cant wait to get started ❤
Great tutorial, clear and thorough ❤
Fabulous pattern with great stitch definition!
Thank you so much! You are very nice teacher , inspire to start this one !👍👍Love to see your work
You’re very welcome :) enjoy!
Great video. I’m making this now
Nice tutorial.
Also love your hook😊
Thank you so much! My husband made the hook! He’s been playing with a wood lathe as a hobby and has now made two of them. I’m loving them :)
I was really enjoying the first five rows but I just think the rest was too complicated for me. You do a good job and I love the pattern but I don’t think I’m ready for it. Thank you.
Beautiful
ماشاء الله
Very pretty! I love the hook but when I clicked the link, it was just for the yarn.
Unfortunately this particular hook was made by my husband :) he recently took up Woodturning and has now made a couple of hooks for me :)
@@RichTexturesCrochet That definitely explains why the hook wasn't available on Lion Brand. 😁 How sweet of your husband to make hooks for you! From what I can tell from your video, it looks super smooth and the grip seems perfect. :)
Thanks! It really is! Once he gets quicker at them, I’m going to encourage him to try and sell a few. They are really smooth and a delight to hold :)
@@RichTexturesCrochet Absolutely! I encourage him to make them to sell also! lol
Very nice
Beautiful thank you is a combination yarn such as this not pilling
Hello! Sorry, I have another couple of questions for you, if you don't mind. Before I get to it, I would like to thank you for answering me back so quickly, I appreciate it. Here is my question. Does this blanket workout well with a starting foundation row of odd number chains? Or is it best to have the starting chain be an even number? Thank you😊!
That is so lovely and beautifully explained to us. Thank you so much for a lovely tutorial. Definitely on my list of "To do's" x 👏🥰
Beautiful 😍
Thank you :)
can you please explain the 'horizontal bar' idea?
8 skeins,,,1600. 60x 60
Just to let you know--- the yarn you recommend has been discontinued. What other yarn would you use?
Hello! Do you think Bernat Forever Fleece will work up ok with this pattern? Hope so I love it, and you!
Beautiful!!! I love it!!!!! 💜 Can I use 2 strands held together of 4 ply to make it be bulky weight??
This is super bulky, so I think you may have to hold two chunky yarn balls together. Actually, I’ve just rethought, you can use two strands of #4, but you’ll need to change the pattern count, just work until your work measures 50inches. Sorry, hope I’ve not totally confused you.
You can - you may want to try three strands and adjust the stitch count if necessary :)
@@chrissiewindsor Not at all.. thank you soo much!!! That makes perfect sense.
@@RichTexturesCrochet I definitely will try that. I’ll try a small swatch first. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
It doesn’t look like the same blanket in the picture
What kind of yarn is this? It’s beautiful! Wondering what sort of thinkness it is and brand/colour? I couldn’t see the label with the info when you showed it.
The yarn info, including color is in the description box below the video. Just click the down arrow to see! 🙂
🙏
You’re welcome!
Hello! Can I make this blanket with any yarn? 😊
You can, you will just have to change the number of chains in the foundation chain to suit the size you’d like :)
I'm making my daughter a baby blanket can I do that stitch with a light weight softer yarn?
Hi I knew thank you for your beautiful work
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
I love the way you explain this! Thank you
You’re welcome :) I’m happy it’s easy to understand!
