For me, it makes in this "Belkin Connect Universal USB-C 11-in-1 Pro Dock", on my Macbook pro, it makes another HDMI port be on "standby mode" , so I cannot use dual monitors, 2 monitors, or even HDM and VGA - monitors, it makes another to be on "standby mode". Guessing it is engineered to make / kind of force people install this "recommended" - software. Some people are saying that it's troijan and 'spyware program' where they make some money through that.
