Every year I set the bar low, and every year without fail they manage to drag their lazy carcass under it. 2023 and it's literally the same game as a decade ago. Flipped assets, a few UI and menu tweaks, a bit of upscaling, the same engine, the same bugs, the same commentary, the same horrifying clone potato faces.... Where are the camera bikes and the team cars, where is the weather? Where is the Giro, the Vuelta, the ToB? We are on PS5's now and they repeatedly sell us the same old PS3 quality game for £50 every year. If you removed the in-race UI and ran this side by side with TDF 2013 from 2 generations ago, squint your eyes a bit and you genuinely would not be able to distinguish one from the other. This game series needs rebuilding from the ground up. Ignoring all that I'm still going to buy it as always.
I know what you mean but I think they don’t really have enough budget to compete with other game developers Personally the fact that they fixed the blocking issue is like a new game to me Also the main reason why I buy the game every year is because I need new stages
@@florintasedan246 They are not competing with other game developers, there are no other cycling games developers. That is why they can do the absolute bare minimum each year and get away with it. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than no game at all.
@@SlaggyChops I feel like if I spend the time, I could do better than them making this game myself. If there is one thing I am certain of is that this dev team is no bigger than 1 person. honestly their reboots every year should be banned from steam.
I don’t understand how they don’t have the ability to improve your riders only sign new ones, you can choose team kit but not bikes (part of the whole fun of it is being a fan of a bike brand, choosing wheels for TT, climbing etc etc etc) like there is with Madden in terms of player development or MotoGP for bike dev
to make a train, i usally put one guy at lets say 80%effort and the rest of the boys on 70%. then they will make a train, and i switch witch of them to go 80% so i dont burn out one guy. its lovley to see the train infront with the yellow yersey.
Is it still the case that when you're developing your rider you always stay the same age? And you're the only one whose traits change/develop while all other riders don't? That really bugged me with the TDF22 version..

This year he won Paris nice , amstel gold race , flèche wallone , tour des flandres so what ? Vingegaard wasn't even in the Word race . he just won the tour because pogacar had a failure at the granon, it's the race he lost gg but remains focused please
