Who knew, 3 years later your meditation thoughtfulness would still apply even more today. The world is blessed to have women like you both working with our children.
Jennifer Study Thank you for joining us. Thrilled to be part of this community with you. 🥰 There’s no checklist, and in a way, thank God for that, but we are very committed to keep growing and learning. I love how my knitting life and work life are coming together in this time: as we talk about how to make the world a more loving and just place. 😍 Happy knitting Jennifer.
I am a new viewer and enjoyed your podcast so much! I appreciate the discussion and mindfulness practice. It’s great to have fun, create and grow emotionally and spiritually. Thanks for sharing everything!
Thanks for sharing!!!! I already loved you guys before, but I love you more now that you shared yourselves on a deeper level and connection. I love your interaction together and all your projects!❤️
Cici Carry Thanks Cici. 😍😍😍I do believe there is so much power in love - in the vulnerability of being seen, in the miracle of slowing down enough to see. That ambulance you hear in the background has been to my house more than once. It’s almost a sign to me that it would show up right then. Everything is a teacher. 🥰 Thanks for saying hi.
Send us a private message insta, ravelry, whatever with your address and if you want your gift certificate from Firefly Fiber or Espace Tricot. Congratulations!!!
What an inspiring podcast! Thank you for sharing the knitting love and the beautiful community it gives us. Even from a long distance. By the way, I love the beautiful halo on Caitlins sweater!
Maaike Marijne Maaike isn’t that the thrill of be part of the knitting world? We can sit in the bedrooms and kitchens with knitters all over. We get to see so many people through this extraordinary lens of making stuff with yarn....Caitlin’s sweater feels so good. She said I could borrow it! Thank you for joining us. 🥰🥰🥰
Kar Flo The biggest challenge/opportunity for me is to love what I’m working on, where I’m at right now. That doesn’t seem to ever change. But the Sode - is a beautiful design. Thanks for saying hi! 😍
Thank you for this beautiful podcast. The meditation you offered for inclusion was so heartfelt and purposeful, such a great way for each of us to BE in this community and to welcome ALL. And it came at the time I binded off my Kodikas shawl and was soaking it for blocking! Oh the timing! Not to mention your gorgeous sweaters!!
DeAnna Alvarez Wish we could see your shawl! I’m going to have to open a share strand in Ravelry or something. Thank you DeAnna, so glad we reached you. Meditation can be such a super power. Always surprised by how something so simple can have so many benefits, and yet I always forget! We’re trying to invite other parts ourselves onto the channel. Thank you for introducing yourself and letting us know we’re on the right track. 🥰 Jax
Cady Jax Knits it would be fun to show you the shawl... I’d join the ravelry group if you decide to open it, and delight in sharing my creation! 😊 I hope we get more meditation in future podcasts 🙏🏻
Ahhh! So happy I found you ladies - I have been binging your podcasts the last few days and it has been so much fun! I love the mindfulness and caring that you show through the podcast. Just life stuff, but you talk about it so nicely. :) I am thankful you take the time to create such a lovely podcast and I am looking forward to hanging out with you a lot more!
Another lovely episode! You guys are wonderful. The knitting content is inspiring ( both of your sweaters suited its wearer perfectly!), your friendship is heartwarming, and your graceful way of addressing the current situation on insta and elsewhere was so calming and wise. It doesn’t hurt at all that we are all engaged in the same field. I hope we all get a chance to meet someday in the real world 😊
rachel weissenstein Thank you Rachel! I forgot to lead us out with a shared breath, but oh well. I did this practice for myself and I was surprised at all I was feeling. 😭We spend so much time in our heads and think we know ourselves so well. Ha! There is so much more to all of us. A big hug to you. 🥰
I just discovered your podcast yesterday - I think on Kristy Glass/Chelsea Purls PC - what a great vibe you two have. I love your friendship and wit. I really loved the poem you shared at the end of this episode. As I work away on my Ranunculus (a staycation project) I am making my way through your episodes. So glad to have found you! Cheers from Muskoka Ontario!
Kelly Nowak Aww... Thank you. I’m going to get out of my pajamas and go see his work today. My friend said he is one of the most radiate humans she’s ever met. I hope his work helps spread that message - that there is a way through pain, not pain bypassed, but digested and transformed, to love. I’m on a tangent now, but Father Gregory Boyle. Have you read him? His work has had me sobbing with love for humanity. Anyway, thank you for spending time with us Kelly. 🥰🥰🥰
I just discovered this pod through another podcast I in this moment do not recall. Anyhow, I'm a follower from now :-) And thanks for the information that led to a new designer for me; Ankestrick on Ravelry. I will surely knit some of her designs. Best of love, regards from Norway
I love and adore your podcasts. We have just started our second lockdown in England and one of the few treats I really enjoy is a bit of binge watching . I started with podcast 1 , just finished this one and am inspired to begin the Sunday Sweater. Did you find it enjoyable to knit ?
Great podcast with beautiful knitting! I am wondering if you have any tips for knitting with black or really dark yarn. I have such a hard time reading my knitting with it.
I love the mindfulness of your podcast. When you were describing your Sode sweater it was like hearing a great literary work. Had I been talking about the sweater it would have been more like ‘See Jackie knit. It is a beautiful sweater. Jackie knits beautiful sweaters.’ What can I say... you speak Austen and I speak Seuss.
Caitlin - Does the mohair in the Redy sweater feel itchy? It’s so beautiful though. I love your pattern choices. They work better for me being busty so I’ve been enjoying seeing the patterns you pick. Is it difficult knitting the merino with mohair together? I’ve only knit once sweater so I’m not a seasoned knitter. Thanks friends!
CE Reads and Knits Caitlin is in TN celebrating her birthday... but I know she adores her Redy and wears it as much as she can. Caitlin is all about soft and cozy. Knitting with two strands is not a hard - just don’t cake them together. 🥰
I love both of your sweaters! The Sode is absolutely stunning. I love the way you describe the process, likening it to literature. I’m wondering, however, what size one would make for a larger person? If you made xl, then what would a medium person make? Anyway, really enjoying watching you two. ❤️
Kimberly Cianci Hi Kimberly! Thanks. The Sode with all its cables expands a lot. My mother can wear it too. She and I have very different shapes. I also knit it on a size smaller needle. I think it’s more versatile than it appears on me. It was crazy wonderful to make!
Oh No!!! 😢 I binge watched because I couldn’t turn you off, love your humor, your makes, your yarn, your yarn stories. Your make stories, your sweet friendship....but I reached episode 10!? What?!? Now I have to wait?!? 😭 Shared you with my knit friends 😍
I was so happy to find your podcast and to learn a bit about your background and to see a meditation that helps on this and other issues. Thank you! @friendoblu

What a beautiful, loving podcast. I have binge-watched them all; but, this was the best!
I love you two! The knits are great and your friendship is a joy to see.
I love your podcast- I always feel welcomed and your appreciation for diversity. Thank you!!

Caitlin, you rock that neck style. The elegance of the 30’s or 40’s movie stars.
Your insides ❤️ shine so brightly and you warm my heart. Talented ladies 💗
Debi Boettiger 🙏😘
You are so my people.❤ And may I say, Caitlin, you look like a movie star! Gorgeous!

Hi Linley - stay safe. Sunday sweater is one of my favorite easy stylish knits. Always feel good in it. Thanks for joining us here!
Yea!!! Looked for you everyday!!!!
Great podcast with beautiful knitting! I am wondering if you have any tips for knitting with black or really dark yarn. I have such a hard time reading my knitting with it.
Cindy W it’s all about good light. I add a ton of stitch markers too. That way if I’m tired, it often keeps me in pattern when my eyes don’t.
Love your beautiful friendship. And your progress project are stunnig
Maria Consuelo Crespo Thank you for Maria it’s such a joy to share this love of knitting among us!
