Yes people specially govt department remove the front shaft permanently. They get better mileage and less noise.

@@vikramsinghparmar6578 damn! I think it is a serious problem. Ek baar engine flush karke dekho, new engine oil dalo, differential oil replace karo, air filter replace karke dekho. Aur fuel tank leakage hain kya chk karo. Shayad problem solve ho jaye.. without 4x4 to 15-16 tak deni chahiye mileage.. aapki idling speed 800 rpm se niche set karo. To petrol nahi piyegi jyada.. hope this helps you
