This was fun, thanks Elizabeth. One of the few things I miss about having a commute home is listening to NPR in the car. Love that Daniel is going to have exposure to that thoughtful conversation even as a little guy.
First, I have to say that I love your hair at this length! It looks so bouncy and fun! Second, I NEED to look up that podcast. Laura Ingalls Wilder was what cemented me as a lifelong reader, and I actually go back and reread the series every so often (it's a personal tradition with a good story but I won't blather on about that here), so this podcast sounds right up my alley. Also, have you ever read the book "Caroline" by Sarah Miller? It's tells the (fictionalized) story of how the "Little House on the Prairie" book might have been told from an adult's perspective. I appreciated how it made me consider the beloved children's book, especially the next time I read it after reading "Caroline". I am trying to think of some podcast recommendations but a lot of mine are Bible study related more than anything else. I do enjoy Lady Carnavon's Official Podcast (she releases one episode a month and talks about some pretty interesting topics) and Here's Where It Gets Interesting by Sharon McMahon (of SharonSaysSo fame) who does some pretty fascinating episodes as well on a variety of topics. This was such a fun video! Thanks for putting it together for us, Elizabeth!
Thanks Dawn! I think this is my favorite hair length. I haven't read Caroline but that sounds really interesting. I need to look up Here's Where It Gets Interesting. I love SharonSaysSo, so that would be perfect for me. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
I love Taylor Jenkins Reid! I really liked the Beartown trilogy by Fredrick Backman. It's fantastic. The best book I've read this year, besides the final one in that trilogy, was probably How the Word Was Passed by Clint Smith. He's a poet and wrote a non-fiction book. It was fantastic.
It’s been a while since I read anything by Fredrick Bachman so I’ll have to check that out. How the Word is Passed also looks really good. Thanks for the suggestions!

How fun! I just searched quarterly favorites on YT as I meal prep and your channel popped up! I also grew up in an NPR family.
We grew up in the same family 😂
I just didn't recognize you with those glasses. @@FernCreekStickers
Have you read The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek? That is my favorite from the quarter.
I hadn’t heard of it, but it looks really good. I just downloaded it from the library. Thanks for the suggestion!
