I was republican in 2014 I was a 3rd party voter in 2016 I was a very reluctant Biden voter in 2020 and after Jan 6th it cemented the reality of the MAGA movement, I will be voting blue down the ballot in swing state Michigan, My mother a life long republican voted cross ballot as a Libertarian and Democratic candidates in protest of what the republican party has become. I hope there are more like me and my mom, I want a future where I'll be able to take care of her without fear of not having money I want a future where my children can inherit a planet that they can sustain for their children. I wish my dad was alive to see how strong and compassionate my family has become.
i am not american but has canadian i am scared of the out come of usa election if certain person wins i dont think i can for good me step on american soil again i rather have nicer person but has person whom watching on sidelines i am scared of what becomes of america
After attending a Trump rally, 1500 supporters broke into the Capitol on Jan. 6th. But, Trump never calls a defense official. But he tweets: "Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done..." angering those in the Capitol yelling "hang Mike Pence". When Trump learned this he said, "so what." Recently he has refered to these rioters as "we".
Vote blue he mentioned being able to vote in 2028 whatever you do do not forget the midterm elections they're very important just as important as any general election 4 years from now The midterms will also play a big part in what happens in 2028 so don't forget them in 2026
I say, vote for whoever you want. Even if Trump wins, I doubt a lot will change. People need to do their own research and not blindly vote based on celebrities' and influencers' opinions, which is a massive problem. A good majority of people vote based on "I don't like this person, so I'm voting this person", without really doing any research on the person they say they hate, letting mainstream media and social media to dictate their political views, which I've always refused to do. So again, vote for whoever you want, just make sure you've done your adequate research before voting.
I agree with the informed voting yes...however I do not agree with a lot won't change. How many women have died or had to carry their rapists babies in Texas alone because trump won in 2020? That's just one example. It's possible that trumps actions also directly led to what ended up being a genocide in Gaza. Then there's his threats to end democracy as we know it. I like the idea of advocating for voting in general but this time I can't in good conscience justify being that general with it. I fully endorsed voting for kamala harris.

1:02 I'm a one issue voter . . . making sure Trump doesn't win

My gut was in knots as I read his tweet on Jan 6.
