Here is what I think the story is about:
After the events of 1987, and 1993 in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Mike Schmidt or known as, Michael Afton has a feeling that won't leave telling him that his father, William Afton is still alive somehow and is inside the abandoned 1987 establishment. Michael decides to respond to the feeling and leave at 12:00 AM sharp and finally RETURN TO ABOMINATIONS...
Just like he planned, Michael Afton made it inside the abandoned Freddy's establishment through the office. He sat down in the still surprisingly ok looking chair in front of the desk and check to see if the cameras still worked. Amazingly, they were still functional! Michael then looked through the cameras and saw the music box, still somehow since the closing in 1987, was still running! Michael then remembered what Phone Guy had told him when he first got the job there, "Keep the music box wound up." Michael then wound up the music box and went to the next camera and saw what used to be pirates cove for the Mangle. There was police tape all over the area and through it all was a gruesome scene of Mangle still having blood on its jaws. Michael then went to the camera with the stage and saw the three toy animatronics in disrepair! He then had a feeling that a presence was still there...
Micheal then looked off the cameras to check if the lights still worked and headed to the power switch, and when he pulled it down the power the office worked! But the vent light did not. Michael then went back to the desk and found the same Freddy Fazbear mask he used against the animatronics all those years back. But when he put it on he realized that it was very toxic from the amount of rot it had. So, he wouldn't be able to keep it on for too long...
He then heard something in his mind say he's here, comeback 4 more nights. Michael then realized that he was about to stay five more nights at freddy's...

Yeah, according to my story, after night 6, that is when Michael Afton burns down the location and the withthereds, now called "rotten" burn with it including the toys. So technically, this is basically someone's rendition of what fnaf 3 could have been and in fact, I really wish this game was cannon because it fits with the lore so well!

Well, this is basically FNaF 2 with both less and more grievances.
We's got Withered Toys, cool aesthetic (tho I still like the designs from Fazbear Entertainment: Storage more), and there are some changes I do like, such as how the flashlight is used against more animatronics now. The mask mechanics also seem way less annoying and less demanding, so that's always a plus. Toy Bonnie isn't a bastard anymore!
Then there's the odd stuff, like the necessity for a tutorial, or a music box that either empties or _fills up_ automatically, and you have to either wind up or wind _down._ I don't think that's how a music box works, and I can't tell if its fixes any of the issues regarding the classic mechanic, or if it just makes it more annoying.
For a while, the usual issues with FNaF 2 are still there, mostly the fact cameras are kinda useless outside of... two of them I think (music box and BB's vent). And most of the animatronics still do the same - they're countered by the mask, a whopping 6 of them I think.
But then things get weird. Shadow Freddy appears, and I honestly don't even know how he works... maybe it's related to the Turn Off Lights button (which turns off the office lights, yet only appears on the camera for some reason), I couldn't really tell.
On the fifth night, Shadow Bonnie appears, and he is basically a demanding music box, except it forces you to stay in the office to "wind him down" instead of a specific camera.
And then of course there's Springtrap, who is lured away by the newly introduced audio mechanics, finally giving some of the cameras an actual use (on the fifth night, not the best track record)... and then there's this mysterious hacker fella who makes pop up windows appear as if he was the Redman, can't spell "mystery", asks you trivia questions of personal opinion, and literally says "fuck you". Classy.
Ah! And Night 6 is something completely different from the main nights, not expanding on the main gameplay at all and instead being a completely different fangame! I'm not usually fond of this idea, but the game already has tutorials, so it's whatever. Plus, the night itself is pretty intuitive tho, simple but solid I'd say! I do like that!

I'll explain,
So if the music box is going down like normal hold left click to wind, but if its winding up on its own hold right click to wind it down it'll alternate between the 2 at random

Basically, when the meter empties automatically, you have to wind it up with the left mouse button.
But then if the meter _fills_ automatically, you have to deplete it with the _right_ mouse button.
I don't think we should really call it a music box anymore, but I'm certain that's not how their spring mechanisms work.
