I meant to mention in the video but obviously did not, that the little ship on screen was a kids meal toy that my son put together so I thought it should join us for the video 👍🏻
Grabbing one of these for my gentleman's carry. I don't wear enough suits to justify the price of a Ikuchi or Smock. Now Cocobolo or CF is the real question..
Hey Mike, thanks so much for watching! That is a tough call, the Cocobolo and CF are both so nice and perfect for a gentlemen’s carry. For strictly durability I would go CF. I have cracked wooden scales twice in my life when reassembling after some routine maintenance. It was totally my fault, lol - but I think the CF is a bit more durable. Either way you can’t go wrong. Cheers buddy!
@@tonyochoa7097 Thanks Tony. I'll check that out. Do you have the Neutron and Atom? Great knives for the price, materials, and quality build /action. Merry Christmas ✌
I agree that the petite is great, I love mine. The only downside about mine is that the lock-up is of no, or very little, use. It's no stronger than a detent would be. I can live with that, but it is disappointing.
That’s interesting about the lockup. Mine is strong, or at least as strong as you would hope for - it’s not a tank by any means but substantially stronger than a detent though.
Awesome!! And if your following me on IG you’ll see me post a pic tomorrow of a new knife that I bought and got in the mail today - and it was based on your recommendation. Stay tuned!
I wanna buy this but just knowing what I know about losing pocket knifes this will fly out oneday I wouldn't notice and I would be just as hurt when I lost my spyderco para...
Ahhh, Boker knives.... I have had mixed experiences with Boker. Pricey for these two but sharp as hell I'm sure. Don't think I would put down this $. Too many better value knives out there for me. I do like these though just like my hard earned $ more lol.
I don’t disagree. I made a choice to buy the larger one just because. If I were to recommend how to spend $100 on a knife there would be dozens I would recommend before these. They’re great blades, just a bit overpriced for what they are.
You should see some of the stuff that Reate and WE produce out of China. World class stuff that puts a lot of USA made knives to shame. Some people for example buy only USA made stiff for political reasons which I respect, but man there is some amazingly high quality stuff coming out of China these days (along with a lot of junk which has and will always be the case). For every world class Chinese knife there’s 1,000 poor quality pieces of junk. Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it. And thanks for the comment. Cheers!
I also think the Delica is overpriced, however I wouldn’t say it’s the most overpriced knife on the market. I think a lot of knives are quite overpriced, lol.

The urban trapper does use IKBS ball bearings
I have one, really like this knife.
Was looking for a comparison of the full size and petite. Cheers!
got you on the IG now as well , subbed because as a nurse I really enjoyed your tourniquet video and I love gear as well.
Awesome! Welcome to the channel, Jamie!

I love mine. I want one in 20CV with carbon fiber scales and a 4 inch blade. Ah to dream. . Great review.
Hey James, thanks so much for watching. That would be sweeeet!!

Ooo what’s that flashlight?
Good stuff Sean! I like your little ship :D
Lol, thanks. My son made it right before I started filming so I thought it should join in on the video.
Nice review. Just to be a pedant, and I only found this out the other day, the 5th pocket is the rear left and not the watch pocket. I believe anyway.
Great review, but could you lay the knives butted up to a measurement line on your mat?

I using an automatic boker for 19 years. the most reliable knife, no backlash
Fyi- the crkt ceo now comes with tip UP carry clip and a flipper tab!
Well I decided since I can't follow your fb that I'd follow on IG. Great review.

Trapper > CEO
Yes. Yes it is!!
Has captive bearings
Awesome ship!
Haha. Thanks! My son made it right before I filmed so I thought he ship should join in.
@@GearedTowardGear1 mad skills.
Ha! He’s going to be a structural engineer for sure.
tip: you spent too long talking about your social media. that's not what viewers want. they want to see the urban trapper.
👍🏻
👍🏻👍🏻
I'm sure the titanium liners up the cost.
For sure.
I think they are on bearings
I think you’re probably right.
Geared Toward Gear if you made an effort to record a video, you could take them apart and check that.

Lol - my deepest condolences that you had to suffer through 2 minutes of intro.
I have no problem buying a Chinese knife, but no way could I spend $90-$100 on one.

to me the delica is the most over priced knife on the market

Worst knife ever
Why?
You think the Price shot by less,……. okay,……. :)
