The Professional Coin Grading Service has created a list of the Top 100 Modern US Coins. The number one coin on that list is the legendary 1964 Peace Dollar struck at the Denver Mint. Rumors of this coin being in collectors hands have been around for years and PCGS is offering $10,000 just to be able to examine a genuine specimen. Modern coin collecting has grown dramatically in the last few years and PCGS want to be at the lead spot in this numismatic industry expansion.

This is the fun aspect of collecting that got me started years ago.
since the 1964 is possibly able to be confiscated by the government even if one is found I don't think it will ever make it's way into the public. IT might be in someone's very private collection.

Yea its a grey area ...whoever's got it is like a outlaw / master coin collector . They can't show anybody wothout jeopardy of the coin . The secret services and government will definitely want to know who has the coin if its bought forward.. im pretty sure asoon as its been show it will be taken by special agents of the secret services also the money will be confiscated and a full investigation i rekon.
Wow! I'd also like to see one of the handful of 1877 Morgan HALF dollars... Only a few were made the year before the 1878 Morgan whole dollars were put in circulation.

Eva Adams had these coins made and I know she had one somewhere hidden very well and somebody knows. She didn't care as much about the SMS sets that she made for herself found at her house. The 1964 D peace dollar was different though. She would have got in big trouble and was even accused by a private investigator who she refers to as a pilot. Eva was very narcissistic and a coin collector herself.

Yeah, like anyone would say they had it, it would be confiscated by the feds if it ever got out you had one.
