  • Seeing is believing. This video shows my full drive from the airport to ELWA, Liberia, West Africa. As an advocate for development, it is important for Liberians and those interested in the investment aspect of the country.

Thanks for sharing. Slowly but surely we will get there. I’m excited that they’re addressing the issues of rain and drainage!! I hope they are also accounting for pedestrian walkways and crossings 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 ❤❤

So basically since I left a year ago there has been minimal progress. It looks almost the same except for everything around the 4:00 mark.

We have to consider the 6 months rain factor! :)

      And why is that?

They need to do better than that. What is stoping them from working faster? We like to settle for mediocrity. I am so tired of us getting things done on a minimal scale and being satisfied. Other countries are moving faster in development while we are here content with 1 km of asphalt laid on road. I m sick of it. We need to do better and work faster

So, when considering road construction, we need to consider several variables. Working during the 6 months of rain is not very possible. Secondly, the timeline allocated to the project aligns with the current progress.

@@zawadiem The same excuse all the time. Because of the rain so we can't work. Other countries have rain as well as snow and they still build their roads. People even go under water and build bridges, but Liberia can't build roads for six months. This is ridiculous.

@@netehforsberg3252 no, no, I’m not a huge fan of excuses. However, looking at the downpour of rain, construction work tend to be extremely slow. Compare the impact of rain during construction in the US vs. the summer time. You can’t excavate and complete foundation work due to waterlogged causing the soil to soil to be loose.
