- Hardknott Pass is known as one of the worst and most dangerous roads in the UK, i was car camping on the lower part of it but i needed to get higher, not the most enjoyable drive ever its fair to say

Guys I have a kind of SPECIAL episode coming in the next one on wednesday .... i want to introduce you to a true LEGEND someone ive known for a while who has devoted a part of his life to helping those with Mental Health .. fear not its a funny epic little episode as always with some Legendary spots (ghost cave, say no more) but its will have a serious side to as ive wanted to introduce you to this guy for quite some time now, uknow where im coming from with this if your a regular to the series weve talked alot about how being out in nature 'can help' to give yourself a well needed 'break' from things sometimes, both me and fitz ( the guy ill introduce you too ) have said that even if only ONE person gets something out of this video by hopefully joining him on one of his charity walks then it will have been a success, ill tell you more about what he does and so on in the next video but its as simple as this, the more views Wednesdays video gets the more chance it has to get out there to someone thats Needs to watch it and get the contact and help they need so please, wether you a regular to the channel or just stumbled across this video, wether your going to watch the video fully or not if you see it pop up in your feed give it a click, the more clicks the more youtube will promote the video = the more chance the right person will see it, its a crazy thing to say but that click might just have the chance to save someones life, i love you guys the community and positivity around this channel has blown me away over the past few years and made me understand how much love and good vibe there really is in the world and without each and everyone of you i wouldnt have been in the position to make wednesdays video ( ill welling up 😢) so really Thankyou 🙏

Yes the car was going slow but it was as if you were scared in case you came to a stop ?
Exactly that I've burnt a clutch out on a Monday (edit ... mondeo ) years ago from someone stopping in front of me on that road ... should have said that car in front of me was going slow to pull in to a passing place so they could get out and take a picture its a one in three hill there and not a great place to be stopping

Or don’t go up hills on a Monday..

I think they sometimes build paths with rocks from elsewhere , even flying them in by helicopter , might explain the different rock colour ?

Great video Adam. Fantastic views the scenery is fantastic. Everything you have said is true enjoy life while you can. I’ve been over hard knot pass just once. I wasn’t driving. Long time since I’ve had moist!🤣 been checking out local woods where I can camp for my first wild/ stealth camp today, trouble is most say private woodlands.

i kept reading the trail reports.... i gotta stop dude half the trails i do sound like you should inform mountain rescue before you set off
Hi Adam. When reading trail reports you need to know who has written them. On the same route one person will say "stick to the crest of the ridge for most fun" whilst another will say " stick to the path the crest of the ridge is for climbers only".
On another point a lot of the rock steps on the mountain paths are actually quite recent things and have been put there to deal with erosion. Hundreds of years ago those steps would not have been there. Best wishes mate.
That was a great hike Adam it didn't look like an easy one but with those views well worth the effort. The words about life was spot mate u know u know.

Another brilliant video the scenary was just beautiful.
I think tech will continue to advance to the point we can regress, AI etc will eventually lead to the point where all "jobs" can be automated freeing up those around at the time to enjoy life, but even after the tech reaches that point it will probably still be generations until its put into use to free people

so sorry few ppl mentioned it i should have explained they were pulling into a passing place to get out and take photos, its a 1 in 3 there and very steep and dangerous not the place to be taking photos, someone had nearly caused an accident the day before doing the same thing hence why i was a bit flappy
