if the falling block entity is custom, i think the falling block logic was messed up by vanilla falling logic like sand or something and custom falling logic, vanilla falling logic is unneeded. That's why it has drops and cannot turn into a real block.Also you might need to plus 0.5 deviation to the falling block entity
