I'm loving this series of videos! I'll be going on my second late season hunt for elk in Arizona, and I've been thankful to rely on the GoHunt Shop to get those specific pieces, and the go hunt point system is awesome! Trail has been awesome to watch in the last few videos! Keep up the great work!
The Sitka gear is amazing. I use the Cloudburst during Elk season here in the PNW... If you have ever hunted here during that time you know that its very hard to stay dry. Have used the cloudburst pants and jacket for last two years and have stayed bone dry. #musthaves #goHUNT
A friend and I are planning our first western hunt for 2nd rifle season Colorado elk. I’m having a hard time finding a total encompassing video showing what multiple people use. I’d love to see what y’all have or if you make a new video that would be great. Thanks! Any info will be great.
Great video Trail. Can you provide what temperature ranges early/mid to late season/late season are? I am from the Midwest and looking for a few new hunting clothing items and want to try to relate what you said to the area I hunt. Also, are you very active while wearing these items or pretty much sitting? Just gives me more reference as to why you chose what you did for the temperature rang and activity level for them. Thanks !!!
It's a combo of hiking and sitting. Depends on the species and location. Generally speaking, I'm doing probably 3-5 miles a day hiking/spot and stalk hunting once I'm packed in and then sitting and glassing perhaps 5 -6 hours a day possibly. Temperature ranging from daytime highs typically 45-55 and nights in the 20's. I have to be prepared to hike and sit, which is why layering is important. -Trail Kreitzer
Why don't guys wear vests? Curious! I always have, Mountain Hardware, now the Sitka vest, just because I hate my arms so ... restricted!! Keeps the core warm but a little more movement! Thanks!
I personally don't wear vests because I don't like the way they look. I used to wear a vest, actually a nice vest too, but for hunting it didn't serve me anything a warm coat could. However, if I could find a camo vest with MOLLE webbing, that would totally change my mind. I have a USMC battle vest and I chose that one because it's what I used in the Marines but more importantly, it has Molle Webbing everywhere! I searched before and couldn't find anything close to the USMC assault vest. I wouldn't wear it while hunting but I would consider it if someone made a camo vest with MOLLE like the USMC version. Then I could carry my binoculars exactly where I want them, can have an extra magazine attached, pocket for my deer call, and another pocket for food. A vest alone didn't help me. This is why I don't carry a vest personally, not knocking it.
Those might be tough to track down, currently the only solid color offered for the Sitka Timberline Pant is gray or "lead". Hope that helps, we'd like to see that green colorway come back as well! Sitka Timberline Pant: shop.gohunt.com/products/sitka-timberline-pant?variant=32268475203671
I purchased Sitka clothes And returned everything Everything is so loud specially when you bow hunt You will get busted doesn’t matter how slow you move When you draw your bow jacket makes all kinds of noise,
They make all those pieces without hoods too. Enough with jumping to conclusions. At least they put hoods on their jackets, Kryptek still hasn't figured that out on their Ghar jacket.

Please tell me when the Timberline pants in that color will be (or were available). The only solid color I've seen is lead grey.
I’m doing a Sitka deer hunt in 2022. This was very helpfull
Best of luck! Be sure to subscribe to our RUclips channel for content like this!

Which jacket would keep me warm in around 40 degrees on its own? Preferably windproof and water resistant
This is more like comfortable camping clothing lol 😆

Because it’s normally my extremities that get cold!
When did Sitka start making the Timberlines in green?
They stopped with that color as well as the built in belt. Maybe it will come back.
Where can we get Timberline pants in THAT color?!?!?!
Those might be tough to track down, currently the only solid color offered for the Sitka Timberline Pant is gray or "lead". Hope that helps, we'd like to see that green colorway come back as well!

Do you have any experience with the apex hoody?
What's the difference between the core heavy weight hoody and fanatic hoody?
Thanks, Great video!
Green Timberlines? Is Sitka revamping their colors? I’ve heard rumors....
Moss timberlines is an older colorway that was discontinued a few years ago. Would love to see Sitka bring them back.
Watching this 2 years after it came out and half these products don’t even exist anymore
INsulaTION PIZZAS
cold pizza is great but lets be honest...it's better hot ;)
Gohunt needs more availability. Always out of stock
We will have a bunch more in stock here soon!
I purchased Sitka clothes
And returned everything
Everything is so loud specially when you bow hunt
You will get busted doesn’t matter how slow you move
When you draw your bow jacket makes all kinds of noise,
everything is a hoody. Layer all those hoodys and you will look like a linebacker with a neck roll behind your head. Sitka enough with the hoodys
They make all those pieces without hoods too. Enough with jumping to conclusions. At least they put hoods on their jackets, Kryptek still hasn't figured that out on their Ghar jacket.
