Jack my friend, I wouldn’t walk up those steep hills and boulders to hide treasure. I recall years ago reading a history book. A prominent general was killed in an Indian battle. They buried his body in the middle of a trail then passed over it with horses wagons and soldiers to keep it secret. Ganghis kann was buried beneath a river. Perhaps find the old trail then look for a prominent marker. Probe for a soft area. I saw a documentary regarding Indians bending trees over to mark their pathways. Perhaps. The desert plenty of cactus and reptiles.
I could see one compass stone and one window stone. If you would slow down on the video, I'm sure you missed more indicators in the bigger rocks, but without eyes on it I cannot can't study the markers. Do resources on the trail of the preists that traveled in that area.
Looks like a lot of fun, Jack. Another great adventure for sure 👍⛏️😎

Another way, if they buried something they would have to remove the over burden, being rocks and such. Soft and cleaned out.
Thanks

I saw you walk by a Heart, 2 dogs and numerous hoyos. Your walking too fast, just sit at one spot and just look for 5 to 10 minutes. Barton
