Sounds good, actually. Nothing beats the look of the chrome chassis and black diamond plate. Also, thank you for clarifying this reissue is based on the Rev G. Most people who are familiar with a rectifier associate them to a Rev G and not an earlier revision. Cheers 🍻
@afterstars it's the same tone. The only difference is that the Heart Attack has no clean channel. I played Single and Dual Rectifiers in the early 2000's-2010 and the Heart Attack is superior when matched up with a 4x12 loaded with Celestian 70-80s.
Agreed. I'll just buy a standard Dual Rectifier if I want a new one... I can also find plenty of used ones at decent price on Reverb, if i decide to go that route. If money was no object though, I might would consider this one. I can't justify it though, as i just bought an ENGL Fireball 100 40th Anniversary Edition half stack... such a phenomenal amp that has a flavor all it's own, kinda like a much more aggressive and punchy boosted Dual Rectifier with a unique midrange growl.

But who knows. I'm hiped, and I'm gonna test it. I have to know.
@@24MusicCarats I love the Rev G, I own 4 of them. The parralel loop is awesome for soloing : I use the Boss Dm-2w in. I use the F with Engl cabs (perfect for thrash), and the G with Matamp cabs for abyssal power chords. For solos, Engl cabs or traditionnal Mesa cabs. Always loaded with V30. The cab matters with old Rectos. I'll tell you when I'll try tis reissie witch is probably half way from the F and the early G. What I here is not the sound of the C or the D, but Mesa seems to managed to reach a sound almost like the original 1992 F. As I'm in Europe, the sound will be a little bit more darker because of the 240V. 2 of my Rectos, one F and one G, come from USA and I use them with a stepdown transformer : they sound better with more presence in the low mids. I will never sell them.
