      Of course!
And that's why this story is ridiculous.
Nobody cares when literally every single day multiple men are accused of rape or sexual misconduct that is completely false. Many millions of men in America fear one woman or another deciding to use her womanly powers to undo her previous consent, or, lots more often, to simply imagine or lie for whatever her dark reasons are.
But THIS WOMAN did no such thing.
What pissed the system off so badly is that they "wasted resources" on her trad girl guilt.
She didn't accuse anyone of doing anything to her to all.
She sinned against her husband (who no doubt has sins of his own, as we all do) and being a trad-wannabbe she was probably overcome with guilt which manifested in the fear that her sin would be punished with a sexually transmitted.
She regretted it so terribly in fact, that she was unable to be able to be normal around her husband while keeping from him this secret that she had had sex with someone else, so she decided to try to convince herself and everyone else that somehow she had been overcome by someone or something that isn't really her.
      Normal human bullshit.
So what does the system do? They hand on her already deeply shamed head the sins and evil thoughts of everyone who has, or has considered, hurting a man with false allegations.
They are punishing her sense of guilt, not her sin.
All I know about this story is the two and a half minutes told by these three women proud to speak to the camera to publicly shame this already shamed woman.

There is a story about Clyde Ray Spencer, who spent 19 years in prison for a child rape he never committed. It was based on evidence that a Clark County Washington police detective fabricated. The detective never faced any consequences, and as of the last time I was aware, she is retired, and living high on the horse somewhere in Arizona. Mr. Spencer received a $9 million jury award for the civil rights claim that he filed in federal court, and the Ninth Circuit Court upheld the award. If I were on the jury, I would have asked for $900 million.

You have no idea how refreshing it is to see someone held accountable for false accusations. So many innocent men in jail because of false accusations.

Actually, she's being held accountable for filing a false police report. She gets off scot free for the accusation that could've potentially cost someone their freedom/life.

@surfntrucks I don't think her getting ANY prison time is being "held accountable"!!!

@@1959LP4U I actually thought she got time but if I'm wrong it shows the failure of the system once again. False accusations are rampant in American society and the people who make them know nothing will happen to them. I'm all for cameras everywhere and recording everything because cameras shine a light on the truth.

It’s crazy that the judge has never sentenced anyone for perjury before, that seems like a problem. People lie all the dang time under oath, on the stand, and in police reports, and are never charged.

Most people don’t lie about stuff like this. You gotta understand the mentality of someone who does stuff like this. This isn’t even normal crazy, there’s a reason the judge calls for evaluation.

Perjury is a very difficult crime to prove because you have to prove that the person knew they were making a false claim at the time; which can be difficult to prove.

The judge commenting on the resources unnecessarily distracted by her lies instead of the massive damage she damb near did to an innocent man is, itself, disgusting. Some dude's life was nearly ruined and it doesn't even register
