- Take a walk with me and Katarina down the most famous street on the island, Papadiamantis Street! In the Summer this street is busy with throngs of holidaymakers and tourists, all enjoying the many shops, bars and restaurants that this street has to offer!
It's a very different story in the Winter...

So nice to see- especially as it looks to have revived after the floods.
Its been amazing watching the islanders all pull together to get Skiathos ready for the holidaymakers. The aftermath of the floods had some long term repercussions for home owners and businesses. I do hope everyone will be ok going in 2024. Much love to you xxx

Hi Ruth & Katrina, a tad quieter to when l was there in the summer. I went to a bar called 'Kentavros' (just off Papadiamantis Street) which l thought was amazing!, what a fab bar and the music was brill. Loved to watch him flicking through his amazing collection of cds and finding my requests in seconds, a really nice guy. Definitely my go-to bar on the next visit. Take care xx

Its was a super sunny day, but there was definitely the chill factor that morning. But I remember, by the time I was walking back home from filming... the coat was off and I was wishing I wasn't wearing tights 😅🙈xxx

Hi Ruth, Another Fab video many thanks for this.! Nice to see what Skiathos is like in December. Just a question, I appreciate that the shops are shut and boarded up for next summer, but I did see that "Souvlaki Strike" looked abandoned. We loved that place, has it gone for good? Hopefully not. Thanks for this Ruth. It’s great to see how things look in the winter. Main Street bar was our favourite stopping off place at the end of a night out. We were there during the storm and I remember how badly the street was damaged but also how fantastically hard everyone worked to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. Keep posting wherever you can, love these videos xx
