1/64 is a good middle of the road scale, but there isn't enough in the construction scene in that scale, at least in my opinion. Thanks for the comment.
I highly suggest picking up a longer end dump. Those small end dumps are primarily used in sand work. See if you can find yourself a couple red DCP 9200, 9400 daycabs for the end dump and lowboy. I think they would look quite good with the workstars.
hello Sr, I have a technical question for you please, if I load a machine caterpillar like D8 dozer for example in scale 1:50, over the lowboy and the mack anthem in 1:64 scale like are you showing in your video, the difference between scale is very notorious ono? Thank you very much for share your amazing toys.
Well my friend, I was incorrect in what Cat D series dozer I would be operating. The gentleman in the interview said it would be a D9, it is actually one of three D8 Dozers. They are ‘92, ‘96, ‘99 vintage. All in decent shape but have zero paint on the blades and tracks. Looks like they were dipped in chrome. Being constantly ran because of power plant needs may do that to a machine :). I plan on collecting all the DM D series dozers. But my brother just gifted me a ETRL CAT ‘Two Ton’ 1/16 scale track type tractor. Not a bad house warming gift if I do say so. Keep up the good work!!
@@DiecastEmporium That is awesome man, I thank you for your service, I'm actually a Jr. Volunteer firefighter in Mildred Texas, planning on making Firefighting my career. The reason I found your channel is im looking at getting into collecting models, and am wondering on the best place to purchase models, I know a few like 3000toys.com, and Collectablediecast.com, but I just want to get someones opinion on the best website.
@@ShakeNBake4200 eBay and Amazon are always good choices due to the fact that you can usually find the best deals there. I also would recommend the construction diecast store, first gear oh, and Roy Ferguson sales

I love 1/64 because it's big enough for scenery and diorama, but very affordable

Look up 1/64 Amercom construction on ebay they are generic knockoff caterpillar models but are very detailed and are great peices for the price
Randall Soto Are they actual 1/64? Or did they just re-do the Norscot 1:50 castings and remove the Cat logos?
Diecast Emporium actual 1/64. They are mostly plastic

vic Yes, you cannot put 1:50 scale models on or with 1/64 scale models. The difference is too noticable.
Good to know before to buy, thanks for share the info.
