Happened to me a lot, and had to change the export settings in order for the compression to not destroy my videos. I used this video for reference: ruclips.net/video/_TDS01a-aRc/видео.html&ab_channel=WaqasQazi
Agree with all you say about this lens. Yes, it's only f4 but it is a constant f4 which is great. The internal zoom is perfect for video content. I recently made some videos in Sydney including low light footage and it performed so well. With a bit of noise reduction in Davinci it can shoot in low light without too many problems. 😃
I own this Lens and the Tamron 17-70 2.8. It is nice, yes, but I like the Tamron more, because I don't like the electronic Zoom (It is to slow for my kind of Photography). Picture wise the Tamron is a tiny bit a head, which it should be for the Price difference. But this is barely noticeable.
@@jettreelsThe 17-70 is for crop sensors. Tamron also builds a 24-70 for FF. Sigma builds a 17-50 and a 24-70, which are the equivalent parts of the holy trinity of zoom lenses.
F4 is good enough to keep it moody on modern bodies. And the focal range is good enough for most purposes. God I sure hate the banding that RUclips does when it transcodes back to 8 bit. My entire body of work has gotten banded out.
It's a great lens, but i recently noticed that it looses focus on fast zoom changes when taking photos, but in video I haven't got this problem... I'm shooting on continous focus, but maybe have some bad setting in the camera...
Hey friends! Looks like RUclips's compression has made the darker areas of the video look a bit rank. Soz about that

I agree! And yes the banding is an absolute nightmare! 😂❤️

Ah that’s odd. I don’t experience any of that. Make sure the lens is updated!
@@jettreels Yes it is, I noticed it now, i don't think it before did that, the lens is brand new, but I will check if it is updated. Thanks so much!!
Is it actually sharp? I keep reading that it's not sharp
Yes it’s sharp 👌
