Twede's Cafe aka Mar-T Cafe in North Bend, Snoqualmie Valley Washington, is the Double R Diner featured in Twin Peaks by David Lynch. This is where FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper, played by Kyle MacLachlan, order cherry pie and a cup of java of Norma Jennings, played by Peggy Lipton. When tasting the coffee Agent Cooper utters the classic comment "a damn fine cup o' coffee!" On one wall in the café you can see photos from recordings of Twin Peaks as well as photos from the series and the characters including Laura Palmer. And they do still offer the Cherry Pie and "damn fine cup o' coffee!" #TwinPeaks

From other videos, it appears that the diner has been renovated since this video (2013) so it's back to the Twin Peaks configuration of tables & counter. Thank goodness - this setup looks horrible.
I gotcha. Coffee at American diners is not likely to satisfy Scandinavian taste buds, it should be compared to other diners in US probably. But perhaps one come for the culture experience of Twede's from Twin Peaks rather than anything they serve, right? :-)
Yes, You are right, the overall experience coming to North Bend and to see all the filming locations was overwhelming. Going back to North Bend, thats for sure :) Love the US.
Thanks for your comment. From my understanding the exterior remains fairly intact but the interior has changed a lot after that fire. Right? I did go there prior to the fire too, back in 1998, but got no film from that occasion.
Hi 👋, as another Twin Peaks fan i'm in awe of the gorgeous images, and i ask respectfully, would you give me permission to use the Double R Diner exterior shots for a Twin Peaks related video project? 🌲⛰🏔🦉 Of course, the whole footage credit is yours, and your channel's name will be on the end credits (It's a university thesis in documentary format for youtube)
Took my Norwegian relatives there once. All of Norway remembered 'Twin Peaks'!

Behold the acolyte of the Black Lodge @ 0:41. The Owls are not what they seam.
I was there in spetember. Bad service and NOT damn fine coffee.
Sorry to hear that, we had a nice visit back in 2013.
I made sound more bad than it actually was. Just a bit dissapointing. Came all the way from Denmark.

Well it's nothing like the diner from twin peaks! Fire in 2000 gutted the place, hence the new design. Shame!

Fire is quite ironic
